I’m sorry, you think a you tube doctor is more valid than a human doctor because the you tube doctor agrees with your opinion? You are daffy.Behold, your god

^^^^^^Why? It's not about what you're eating, but about what you're NOT eating
A DOCTOR is spreading nutritional advice on YouTube and he's not a real doctor but a "YouTube doctor"????? And you call ME daffy????I’m sorry, you think a you tube doctor is more valid than a human doctor because the you tube doctor agrees with your opinion? You are daffy.

I have no idea who the hell he is, I don’t go to YouTube for medical advice, I go to a doctor that I can see. My way has worked for decades and has not failed me, you want medical advice from YouTube, more power to you, I am good with that.Dr. Michael Greger is an actual physician. But he's far from the only one. There are many more like him who will say the same thing. Are you going to make false statements about all of them too?
I know nothing of his background why would I listen to him? Why are you so upset that I go to a medical doctor I can talk with in person?A DOCTOR is spreading nutritional advice on YouTube and he's not a real doctor but a "YouTube doctor"????? And you call ME daffy????![]()
Do yourself a favor and Google the recent study involving half a million (I believe) keto dieters. It isn't LONG TERM good news.I’m sorry, you think a you tube doctor is more valid than a human doctor because the you tube doctor agrees with your opinion? You are daffy.
Thanks, I’ll do what I want and you do what you want.Do yourself a favor and Google the recent study involving half a million (I believe) keto dieters. It isn't LONG TERM good news.
Your health is in YOUR hands, not some guy who did half a semester on "nutrition"
I need that stuff. Everybody's body is different. Coffee has a lot of oxalic acid. I hate beets. And squash..
If someone has no sensitivities to any of those toxins, cool!
I have a very painful condition that worsens if I eat a lot of oxalic acid, so I must avoid the "healthiest" of all vegetables -- beets, spinach, chard and other greens, as well as nuts and grains and legumes.
Since adopting diet heavy in animal protein and fats, my cholesterol is normal! I can eat a few vegetables and fruits and the only thing I feel deprived of is the pain of the condition that's exacerbated by oxalates.
PS -- If you tend towards those very painful kidney stones, they are very likely calcium oxalate stones and you might be advised by your doctor to avoid oxalates.

Beets are atrocious.I need that stuff. Everybody's body is different. Coffee has a lot of oxalic acid. I hate beets.
Exactly. They're good for ya, but I can't stand 'um.

Yep. I choose to listen to doctors who have had a little more training in nutrition and the science of KEEPING HEALTHYAgain, most doctors know very little about nutrition. They only get a small number hours of nutrition training during their many years of medical education. And what they DO get is often the same BS that we were fed to by the government which we now know is false.
It's disingenuous to dismiss what he or others say just because it's on YouTube.... especially when you have people on the opposing side who are also on YouTube. It doesn't change the reality that he and others who are saying the same thing as him are actual doctors, who actually know about nutrition unlike most doctors, and who actually care about speaking the truth, even when it's NOT what people's itching ears want to hear.
Did fine for decades without YouTube, you can watch it, I don’t care and you shouldn’t mind if I don’t watch it. Blood tests shows my health is fine all my blood tests come in the normal range, my bad cholesterol. The electro lights are all within the normal spectrum. My blood sugar levels are normal where as before they were 13.8, so it is working for me, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else without seeing a doctor.Again, most doctors know very little about nutrition.
