Would You Take Your Baby To A Fancy Restaurant?

Myself.
While I have eaten at fancy restaurants my preference is more Icehouse type places, crawfish boils,BBQs and the like.
I wanna wear shorts and flip flops rather than suit.

There are places with good food and loud, boisterous atmosphere, where a hollering rug rat might be less of an issue. Chinook's in Seattle was like that. Intensely wonderful smoked salmon Alfredo, London Broil with a kickin' kalbi sauce and a velvety creme brulee that I would tolerate a screaming kid for!

.

Pitch a fit, Dad... that's what your children will learn.
If you read the complaining reddit post, you'll see that it wasn't Dad pitching a fit. It was some entitled bitch that figured anyone cared whether she was disgruntled at a crying child at the next table. You didn't seem to be too upset when Maxine Watters' minions threw fits at people they didn't agree with because they were Trump supporters--hypocrite.

Absolutely. But My baby would look like this:

Maybe that would be why she was screaming and crying. LOL

I'm not a fan of Maxine Waters. What does she have to do with small children in restaurants?

A crying kid in a fancy restaurant should be treated the same as a crying kid anywhere else.

When my daughter was a toddler, we took her to "fancy" restaurants in San Diego. Only once did she start crying and carrying on. At the first hint of it, my wife scooped her up and took her outside until she calmed down.

One of my favorite restaurants is Capitol Grill. They're a chain, which I normally eschew, but they're very good, and certainly falls into "nice restaurant" category. I see toddlers there all the time, and have absolutely no problem with it...

I'm fine with kids in restaurants,as long as they aren't screaming and carrying on.
I find it kinda strange that anyone would want to take their child to a fancy restaurant.
When people spend a bunch of money to go out and eat they're usually looking for a romantic night out.
Having a kid along would kinda dampen the mood.

I sure wouldn't.

We take our fur baby to fancy restaurants. Our blue heeler service dog has been to many high class dining establishments. He sits right up on the bench or chair next to me and eats right off his own plate. We tell the offended it was a difficult birth.

I don't blame the woman for wanting another place to eat.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I am not surprised the baby was allowed into the place. I was at one of my local Wal-Mart stores recently and just before it was time for me to leave, the front of the store smelled like a dog had been allowed in so that it could turn the place into its own personal bathroom. I couldn't wait to get out of there it was that awful!
