Would you rather live in liberal California or a red state?

I think i would feel good and do well in California
California has some spectacular scenery and major cities that invest in culture, parks, infrastructure. California has great restaurants, entertainment, sports, great universities.

Red States are boring and ugly.
Culture revolves around the local WalMart and Chain Restaurants

Of Course. That came from the Republican past. Today it is domineering. Super costly. Lets illegals in and welcomes them. If you are an illegal, you can murder a woman and be declared innocent.

Republicans won’t spend a cent on improving quality of life.

Want breakfast? Dennys or Waffle House
Pizza? Pizza Hut or Domino’s
Seafood? Red Lobster
Italian? Olive Garden

We spend our money on such improvements. We do not snatch your money to make improvements.

Red states are shit holes

No civic planning, no zoning, no public services, bad schools
Boring flyover country

California is nice to the homeless and has tremendous weather for outdoor camping.

Being outside is an advantage during earthquakes which are common, and sharknados which are less common that movies would indicate.

It all comes down to whether you prefer California Love or Sweet Home Alabama.

My state (Vermont) is often referred to as 'little california' , mostly due to this guy>>>

As another poster said the difference is more urban vs rural. One thing to realize, California is the ultimate western state in that it is absolutely utterly insanely big. I am a Texan. Texas is bigger than France. But frankly california dwarfs it.
