Would you intervene like Penny did on the subway???

:lmao:

Your admitted disengagement with the "real world" is what makes your "I watched a lot of movies! - fu" so hilarious.
Are you dense or something? I said kung fu doesnt work. You protested, and now youre talking about me fighting someone in the real world. Stay on topic, dipshit. :cuckoo:

Thats an interesting claim. What exactly do you think i "imagine" when it comes to using martial arts?
Based on what you say, you seem to have a Hollywood view in fighting

I don’t study mma, I suppose stuff that incorporates grappling, wrestling like jiu jitsu would be effective in a real world street fight

But hands on and experience in brawls counts for more than all the “watching and studying” in the world

You don't know shit, Bruce.
The fact that you disagree with me only reveals your complete lack of knowledge. Can you point to one thing that supports kung fu being legit, other than the stupid kung fu movies that you bought into?

The whole point of this thread is about a real world, street fight scenario

It doesnt seem to be helping you in this debate. Kung fu is bullshit. That is my claim. How does your bar fight experience help you right now in this discussion? It doesnt apply at all.

That might be the topic of the thread, but not the post that YOU guys responded to and gave me shit for. :cuckoo:

Then stop pretending you know anything about fighting until you've been in one, Poindexter.
What the fuck makes you think i havent been in a fight? What the fuck makes any of you think i havent been trained to fight? I bet ive spent more hours training than most on this forum. Just because i dont claim to be a badass, doesnt mean i cant fight. :cuckoo:

You imagine everything because you actually know nothing.

Well gee, you sure have a special talent for pointing out the obvious. No shit grappling is best in that scenario. A surprise rear naked choke its going to be very hard to counter, especially if you get your hooks in quick. Your average citizen isnt going to be very good at defending against it.
"Your average citizen" is likely to have 1000% more actual experience than YOU, Poindexter.

You implied that your interest in mma makes you some sort of badass fighter.

That’s pretty hilarious and you’re opening yourself up to ridicule saying something like that

If you meant your extensive viewing of fights on TV makes you an expert on which mma are effective and which aren’t….. well, that just makes you an armchair quarterback at best

You implied that your interest in mma makes you some sort of badass fighter.
Nope. That never happened, which is why you will fail to post a quote from me that says as much. I said i have knowledge, and i do. :cuckoo:

I can tell you that you are correct.

... Can you point to one thing that supports kung fu being legit,...?

Yes, dozens of people in back alleys and street rings all over China as well as late-nights in Boston's Chinatown. Those and dozens more who would take a TV tough guy like you apart in under a minute.
