Zone1 Would Jesus support Donald Trump if alive today?

LOL why do you people keep avoiding answering the question?
Cowards, the lot of ya.
I did answer it. You have to choose to be virtuous. It's not virtuous if you are forced to be virtuous.

AGAIN, still nothing. Coloring page it is!

Why do you think people in ages past had a dozen or more children, despite KNOWING there was a very good chance that several would die in childhood, or KNOWING that the king would send some to die on the battlefield? Using his standard, they should not have had any.
Correct. That is a good analogy just as marriage with the risk of divorce or death is a good analogy. The answer to all is love.

Do you really feel Jesus Christ would support Trump and MAGA if alive today.
I have a hard time believing he would.
MAGA is the opposite of many of Jesus's key teachings.

  • Jesus’s call for humility and service over power and wealth.
  • His commands to love and care for outsiders and the disadvantaged
  • Jesus never sought political office or power and urged His followers to seek God’s kingdom rather than worldly rule.
  • His emphasis was on care, compassion, and justice for all people, especially the vulnerable.
  • He challenged religious and political leaders alike when they ignored mercy and righteousness
  • Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:31)
  • “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:35)
  • The Good Samaritan (Luke 10) centers moral duty on care for foreigners and enemies.
  • Jesus rejects earthly power, status, and domination (Matthew 20:25–28).
  • Jesus condemns deception and hypocrisy (Matthew 23).
  • Jesus repeatedly warns against wealth and neglect of the poor (Luke 12, Luke 16).
  • What mortal man does not realize we are all flawed and ask Jesus for forgiveness? Trump has said "Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness, if I am not making mistakes?"
  • 'Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions'” (Luke 12:15).
Who let it rain for 40 days and 40 nights?
Sometimes it is what it is, and I would never try and guess what Jesus would do.
I've been surprised too many times.

Your question assumes his purpose is to create perfection, right?
My question, AGAIN is, if he is omniscient, and he knows what choices we will make, why would he create us, knowing he will just send us to hell?
Its not about perfection. Its not about our choices. Its about his omniscience and why he would create failure.

The beauty of God lies in His majesty of how He creates. He brings existence out of nothing, He brings good out of evil. TNHarley moans about being tortured forever when God doesn't torture. God does not wail and throw up His hands when people give Him nothing-belief. It doesn't bother Him, as He can bring something from the nothingness. Mankind has a choice. Is our choice, "Leave me as I am, I'm fine, I'm here to do my will" or is it, "Here I am, create in me something more. I come to do your will." People of faith choose the awesomeness of God. People who embrace atheism choose the awesomeness of themselves. People who are thinking only of themselves and their own doings/purposes, miss the perspective that God in His Greatness has plans and purpose as well.

As for me...when I look at the awesomeness of myself, that is torture. I find none. I may be lovable in God's eyes, but I am nowhere near awesome. However, it is sometimes amazing to see what God can do with the little I can offer.
He's only here to play games. He's amusing himself because he thinks he is superior.
To your point... these questions can only be answered by looking at the full picture. It's not that TN is incapable of doing that as much as he is unwilling to do that.

I think its hilarious how people are comparing a supreme beings omniscience with humans making babies
You people are funny.

You can't address that question without understanding what God's objective is.

I asked one question and none of you have answered it. And now im being gaslit.
Typical narcissistic behavior.

and claim Jesus is the only path to heaven
What is meant by that is that by teaching the only right WAY to understand and comply with the Law that fulfills the promise of abundant blessings and eternal life in the realm of God, Jesus revealed the only WAY to get to and be in heaven with God while still living on earth, open to all those who hear his teaching and act on it, eat his "flesh" and drink his blood.

Life is in the blood. In the doing.

That doesn't mean people who never heard of Jesus or dismissed him out of hand because of the stupid things some people claim about him doesn't mean they won't receive the reward of the righteous without Jesus, eternal life with God in heaven, after their body dies.

Its just after their body dies.

You won't answer a simple question. Would you prefer not having a choice at all, just being a robot?

Your argument assumes that God's creation must be perfect. That God has fucked up because he didn't create perfection and knew he didn't create perfection so why would he do it. My argument is that God created exactly what he wanted to serve his purpose and you don't understand that purpose.

Yes, I think free will is awesome. Christians dont really have that, though. You either do as he says or go to hell.

It's pretty obvious he's not interested in an honest discussion.
