Zone1 Would Jesus support Donald Trump if alive today?

Why do you think he would create something only to torture it for eternity?
I already told you, because He wants us to CHOOSE to follow Him and without real consequences, there's no real choice.

Now you have no further pretext under which to avoid the question, would you prefer that you have no choice at all? You have been dodging the question.

BUT HE ALREADY KNOWS WHAT WE WILL CHOOSE.
DO CAPS HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS SIMPLE AND BASIC ABRAHAMIC TENENT?

OMG This is why I talk about your comprehension.
God is supposedly omniscient. If he is omniscient, he already knows what choices people will make. He knows if they will worship or not. Free will has nothing to do with his supposed omniscience.
So why would he create people KNOWING he would end up torturing them for eternity?
Do you understand now? If not, im sure i could get some 3 year old to color you a picture.
God gave you free will. It's your choice. He didn't create you to be a robot with no choice.

The same reason you got married even though you knew divorce was a risk... love. Not everyone gets divorced. Not everyone separates themselves from God. Based on your logic you would never do anything because there was a risk of failure.
Why do you think people in ages past had a dozen or more children, despite KNOWING there was a very good chance that several would die in childhood, or KNOWING that the king would send some to die on the battlefield? Using his standard, they should not have had any.

LOL why do you people keep avoiding answering the question?
Cowards, the lot of ya.

Hey genius, YOUR RELIGION says your god is omniscient. So my standards are YOUR religion and you complain about it?

I told you what I think, now answer my question.

It was not too long ago that people had as many children as they could despite KNOWING that some would die before adulthood. Why do you think they did that? Could it possibly be that they treasured the ones that lived and mourned the ones that didn't, and had them anyway?

Answer the question.

I'm not complaining about God's standards, that's you. You don't like having real consequences for your decision.

Now answer the question, if you're not afraid.

You refuse to answer the question.

I have nothing to do with this. OMG bro. You are killing me! :lmao:

Nope, you asked what I think and I told you.

Now answer the question. You're not afraid to, are you?
You did not answer my question. Youre avoiding the omniscient part. Which, BTW, is the WHOLE point.

You can run away, no one is stopping you. It would be sad, though, that you are too afraid to answer a simple question about what you think.

What part of asking what I think do you not understand? I told you several times what I think. You just don't like it that I will not criticize God for allowing us to make free choices, then creating a way back to Him.

I'm not avoiding anything, you are avoiding because you're afraid to admit you don't want to be a programmed robot, but you also don't want consequences for your choices.

My question is about his omniscience. Not about our choices, since HE ALREADY KNOWS WHAT CHOICES WE WILL MAKE. And you refuse to answer.
Im done discussing this with you. Its a lost cause.
Have a good day!

Like I said, feel free to run away, knowing you refused to say what you really think. I've already answered about His omniscience.

The beauty of God lies in His majesty of how He creates. He brings existence out of nothing, He brings good out of evil. TNHarley moans about being tortured forever when God doesn't torture. God does not wail and throw up His hands when people give Him nothing-belief. It doesn't bother Him, as He can bring something from the nothingness. Mankind has a choice. Is our choice, "Leave me as I am, I'm fine, I'm here to do my will" or is it, "Here I am, create in me something more. I come to do your will." People of faith choose the awesomeness of God. People who embrace atheism choose the awesomeness of themselves. People who are thinking only of themselves and their own doings/purposes, miss the perspective that God in His Greatness has plans and purpose as well.

As for me...when I look at the awesomeness of myself, that is torture. I find none. I may be lovable in God's eyes, but I am nowhere near awesome. However, it is sometimes amazing to see what God can do with the little I can offer.

I cannot understand those who make the choice to rebel against God, then complain that God is not fair because there are consequences to making that choice but don't have the strength of their convictions to say it would be better if they had no choice at all.

I believe the bottom line is, they want the choice to rebel but don't want any real consequences for making it.

Then why did Christians invent hell
You have to go back to before 325ce when Rome assimilated and perverted Christianity with Mithraism the secret 'mystery religion" of the Roman government and military. Every time a person was crucified they were practicing human sacrifice to Mithras on the Mithran cross.

So Christians did not invent hell. They misunderstood Jesus talking about Gehenna, a smoldering garbage dump outside the walls of the city that he used as an analogy to depict the realm of the dead and the creatures in Gehenna who like vermin, vultures, maggots, and creepy things that creep, feast on fetid garbage discarded by higher intelligences as unclean, vile and loathsome flesh that defiles and contaminates the mind.

Not kosher.

Let me make it more simple. Moses when referring to the Law stated that it presents a choice between life and death, a blessing or a curse. Hell, hades, Gehenna, Sheol, all refer to the realm of the dead, dead as in an artificially induced state of mind that resembles a very deep sleep.

Think about it. If the consequence for failing to heed Divine instruction is what the authors of scripture called "the death", a curse, then everyone, whatever they believe, who sets aside that instruction claiming its outdated, irrational, or instead worships a mangod, dicks around over whats for dinner, or claims that a pedophile was the greatest prophet, are all already in hell. These are those sleeping in the dust of the earth who will rise from their graves during the resurrection

Until then.

They have their reward already.

The death, a curse, more or less what is now known as insanity, a living hell.
