The Democrats want to maintain health insurance subsidies for everyone including illegals, which the Republicans deem too expensive. Would better general health solve the problem for both sides? I ask because the health of Americans and illegals seems to be deteriorating not improving. It has been proven that better healthcare hasn't improved our general health but seems to be a license to neglect our health. What say you?

Probably so. You'd be amazed at how many people I see using SNAP benefits and other government food cards when I'm working a register. I don't see how they stay alive, based on the crap they buy. These are the same people who get free health care too.

I've never met my deductible my entire adult life and it hasn't done a thing to help my insurance premiums so I vote no.

Too many Americans eat junk food and consume too much sugar. They also don't exercise enough plus smoke and drink to excess. No wonder so many folks have health problems.

I exercise regularly, eat healthy food and don't smoke or drink.

IDK

When I go to Walmart it’s pretty obvious that the Mexicans are, on average, in better shape than the white folks (or the black folks for that matter)

You really seem to be straining to connect two very different issues here

There is a strong connection between general health and the cost of health care/health insurance, doncha think?

No prove it. Health is created by lifestyle
The cost of health care insurance is directly related to the cost of healthcare.
The cost of health care is directly related to the medical needs of the patient.
The medical needs of the patient is directly related to how sick or injured he/she is.
How sick or injured he/she is, is directly related to his/her lifestyle.

Lifestyle choices significantly affect insurance rates in several ways:

Sure but what does that have to do with illegalls?

It just seemed like you’re tacking together two completely unrelated topics

I'm correlating the effect of poor health on the cost of health insurance, regardless of the legal status of the people. That said the illegals do run up the costs.

Thats because in general americans are slways stressed out. We work incessantly for next to nothing. So many worties financially. Not sure this is the best way to live. People drink to escape it.

If you worked at a job you liked I doubt you would be stressed out.
