I don't think that I would. This looks creepy and I would have a hard time with knowing that I couldn't actually interact with them ever again. OhPleaseJustQuit, mudwhistle, toobfreak, what do you guys and other people on here think?

Gary Mule-Deer claims his father was a veterinarian and a taxidermist. His motto; " no matter what happens, you'll get your dog back".

NO. That is sick. The pet is not a possession, it was the spirit of a living being who was your friend, not just a ball of hair and fur to be mounted to the wall or to sit on the mantle of the fireplace.

I get your point but I also see where they're coming from as it's difficult to say goodbye, but as Manonthestreet said that's what pictures are for.

Yes, they had him in a sleeping position curled up next to the fireplace. I found it disturbing.

Game trophes I understand, but as to it being difficult to say goodbye to a pet, like or not, when your pet dies, you have no choice but to say goodbye because they are gone. Stuffing the fur just maintains an unhealthy illusion.

One clear upside. When you tell the dog to “stay!” by golly that bitch stays.

Everyone mourns differently, this is just a weird way of mourning.

My sister's 3 passed dog's cremated remains are all on the same shelf, with their collars around the box urn.

.

That's how I've kept mine, on the same shelf where I keep my husband's picture and the flag that was handed to me by the airman at his funeral, and the certificate of condolence from President Trump's government, as well as a music box with the photo of my mom's graduation, when she took her degree at the age of 60.
