Why? Do you realize how easy it would be to find off-topic posts like that one in a Nature forum?

More importantly, they would rarely even surface, because that forum is not the place for those types of comments.

It would effectively be an oasis away from politics, for people to share stories and photos about a shared love of nature, completely apolitical.

Wild animals, from deer, to birds, to thousands of other animals, are not pets. The environment is not your garden, or landscape. People like to be outdoors, see things, take pictures, share videos or pictures of animals they did actually see in the wild, but don't have a dedicated forum for doing so. Would you consider having a Nature forum? I think it would be much more popular than some of the less trafficked forums.

Who told U that deer are not pets? If a person comes across a deer that is equipped with a high viz collar then they are spoken for/ pets obviously, or with a tracking collar(g'ment)could also be deer used for research by professional folks for multiple reasons. The pet deer in the cities generally are not collared as traffic is usually slow enough to avoid a vehicular collision with them. There are exceptions to the rule though as seen below;



WHY push for a nature channel when U can move to Spokane & experience it live? One does not even have to leave the pavement for the panhandling to begin as they come to U!

If that happens, then there might be a need for a Hunting forum, or a Fish and Game forum, etc. The Garage seems to work fine for posts like that, Nature should be about animals and where they live.

A ' Personal Attacks forum' would probably do well here.

I was told the people who run this site have to abide by an agreement that restricts certain specific topic forums for a period of ten years I think. Due to directly competing with the sellers other forums.
