Why wouldn’t it?
Is that what the American people want?
Are things on the up and up in California? Is the state becoming better, is it improving for the right people?

It would certainly be a super major shithole somewhere between south CA and Portland with a lot of Chicago thrown in.

I'm thinking 1930s depression if Biden wins and the Dems take the Senate and keep the House. They'll do away with the filibuster and pass whatever they please; bailouts to blue states and cities, amnesty to illegals, tax hikes that will drive away business at a time when we're coming out of the pandemic. It won't be pretty, you cannot tax and spend your way to prosperity.

A fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage and healthcare reform?

And, a positive multiplier effect claims differently.

It would turn into Venezuela.
From 1978 to 2018, CEO compensation grew by 1,007.5% (940.3% under the options-realized measure), far outstripping S&P stock market growth (706.7%) and the wage growth of very high earners (339.2%). In contrast, wages for the typical worker grew by just 11.9%.
