All the 'Conservatives' have ever wanted is to cut the trees and collect the money. If you and the other liars were serious about forest management, you would be working to increase the budget of the Forest Service for that management. But it is always the 'Conservatives' that oppose any such spending.

The lease we hunt on is over 6 thousand acres that borders 7K acres all of which have pine trees on them. And those acres are surrounded tens of thousands of acres.
They harvest a certain amount of acres and replant and allow them to grow to maturity before harvesting again in 30 or 40 years.
It would be stupid to clear cut and not replant.
