Well if they wanted to hurt Russia, they could shut off all the lines. Of course we would probably have to mobilize any LNG carriers we have in our reserve fleet and take over supplying most of Europe with Natural Gas.

We (our US based companies) would love it. Buying energy is a double-edged sword and always has been. To the seller it is just a profitable carrot until it is a stick. To the buyer it is just a convenience until it is a means of downfall.

Very short sighted. But people buy into the whole "we can do it all with renewables" bullshit.

We've had 3 major Nuclear accidents. At TMI the containment worked, At Fukishima the containment kept the worst stuff inside (and it took a 40ft high wall of water to cause the accident).

Only at Chernobyl (ironic) was it a disaster that could have been much worse (if the melted core hit the water tanks underneath or the water table it would have been bye bye Eastern Europe. )

And the industry has learned from all three incidents.
