Written evidence for the existence of abortion dates back almost 4000 years so obviously it wasn't some recent "invention" by "leftists".

Again, according to you lefties, abortion is the greatest achievement in human history. The Pyramids or Golden Gate Bridge pale in comparison to tearing the arms and legs off of a baby.

Because you love abortion above all things, because you praise abortion as the pinnacle of human achievement, then it stands to reason that if we view the act of a woman shooting a rapist as an abortion, you would embrace and praise it.

The US Supreme Court over 40 years ago--Roe V Wade stated that women have the right to choose. Now while I am pro-life and would prefer to pay for birth control pills versus someone having an abortion--there are also two sides to this issue.

1. The life of the mother
2. Rape Victims
3. Incest Victims

Now while I don't like abortion on demand--I certainly understand the above 3 instances where a woman would have an abortion.

The more moderate point of view is--if an unwanted baby is born--to a mother who never wanted it in the first place--will this baby grow up to be our next mass murderer, and or become a permanent ward of the state on the taxpayer dime? That's the FEAR. Most young single mothers to not give up their babies for adoption.

It's a choice that everyone has to make--and they make that decision by themselves.

Why don't you talk to the mothers of the unwanted babies that are allegedly killing people and acting as drains on society.

Oh that's RIGHT..there's no such thing as an unwanted baby. You won't find any mother who says "I didn't want my baby but I raised him anyway". Doesn't happen. Women will get abortions anyway (so they're criminal)
Women who accidentally get pregnant are bad mothers
The children of mothers who didn't plan for that child will be monsters and criminals themselves
Women aren't smart enough to budget for their own birth control
Women aren't smart enough to abstain if they can't afford their own birth control
Women are incapable of controlling their sexual impulses so the state must make sure they are at least temporarily infertile, if they can't be convinced to sterilize themselves altogether.
