With the mods permission I'd like to start a thread posters can make additions to tracking the corruption of the trump family.

Mostly because there is so much of it I have a hard time keeping up by myself. For example, I just heard about this which was proudly, and unironically, reported by Fox.

Eric Trump-backed robot startup lands $24M Pentagon deal to compete with China

The future of American defense is undergoing a high-tech revolution as the Pentagon has awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to test heavy-duty humanoid robots.

Foundation Future Industries recently secured the $24 million contract for its "Phantom" robots, designed to breach enemy sites and spare American lives. CEO Sankaet Pathak and chief strategy advisor Eric Trump argue the technology will help maintain America’s edge on the battlefield.

"We are America First. We have to win this race," Trump said Thursday on "Mornings with Maria."

"The uses are unlimited, and I think it's a very beautiful thing, but we must win this race," he added.

I don't know about America First but there's definitely trump family first. Then there's this.

U.S. Considers Financial Support for Oil-Rich U.A.E.

President Trump said on Tuesday that the United States was considering offering financial support to the United Arab Emirates, an oil-rich ally that has been contending with economic fallout from the war in Iran.

The war has damaged oil and gas infrastructure throughout the Middle East, dealing a blow to economies that rely on the Strait of Hormuz to transport crude around the world. The Emirates is an unlikely recipient of economic support, and the fact that it has inquired about assistance demonstrates the cascading effects of the conflict.

“It’s been a good ally of ours, and you know, these are unusual times,” Mr. Trump said on CNBC on Tuesday.

Unusual indeed.

UAE-linked firm bought major stake in Trump family crypto company, Wall Street Journal reports

So as not to muddy the waters the thread should only include financial corruption benefitting the fam. If we started adding the dozens of other forms of corruption it would cloud the issue.

I invite fellow trump critics to make contributions with links to information regarding instances of financially related corruption in order to make a comprehensive list. No doubt there are examples I'm not aware of. Here's one I know about.

Federal regulator sues 3 states over prediction market restrictions

I'm sure Don Jr. being an advisor to, and investor in, prediction markets companies has nothing to do with this. ;)

As always, comments from trump devotees are welcome. But if you plan on posting whataboutisms regarding the Biden's be prepared to support your accusations with factual, credible info.

/----/ You may not agree with these deals, and I don't necessarily do either, but it's not corruption, just good business.

Jesus Christ, you're hilarious.

A complete idiot but apparently no inkling that he is a poor man's idiot .
That is , a middle class version of what we used to call ,a Barrack Room Lawyer.

Invariably they are privately bowled over by their imagined cleverness .
A sort of mini Trump .

See where that is going?

They'd probably have to first confirm that this website contains the requisite bandwidth.
It will be challenging. Especially when adding examples from trump 1.0.

The Secret Service spent nearly $2 million at Trump properties

The Secret Service has spent nearly $2 million of taxpayer money at Trump properties, literally paying Donald Trump for the right to protect him and his family, according to government records obtained and analyzed by CREW. Newly acquired records show roughly $1.75 million being paid to Trump’s businesses; however, these records appear to be incomplete. Previously published records, by CREW and others, which do not appear to be included in the documents, account for thousands more in Secret Service spending at Trump properties, bringing the likely grand total closer to $2 million.

One of the biggest sources of expenses was Mar-a-Lago, the so-called Winter White House. The documents, obtained by CREW through the Freedom of Information Act, show the Secret Service paying Trump’s private club more than $300,000 to protect him and his family there. Over his presidency, Trump made an astounding 146 visits to the Palm Beach club, which makes sense in the context of his inability to bill the government when he was staying at the actual White House. The records do not show any spending at Mar-a-Lago until 2018, despite the fact Trump visited that property many times the year before, and those visits are known to have resulted in tens of thousands of dollars of Secret Service spending.

Unfortunately, moderator permission is not needed to start thread after thread of attention-whoring, bizarrely sourced Trump derangement.
it has been what 12 years now where the unhinged left has gone tooth and nail against Trump? They are all insane and getting worse day by day.

Not exactly the kind of substantive contribution I was hoping for. But admittedly, it can be a bit overwhelming for trumples to come to grips with the magnitude of the grifting. For instance, this is hard even for me to get my head around.

President Trump’s legacy of corruption, four years and 3,700 conflicts of interest later

Next week marks the end of Donald Trump’s term as President. In his wake, he will leave behind a legacy of profound corruption and egregious conflicts of interest, the repercussions of which will echo for years after he is gone. In the last four years, Trump has flouted all kinds of norms set by previous presidents, starting with his decision not to divest from his business interests while in office, setting the stage for what became an administration marked by placing self-interest and profiteering at the highest levels above the public interest and culminated in a deadly insurrection that was rooted in the same self-serving ethos.

Trump ran as the “law and order” candidate who would “drain the swamp” in Washington, D.C. Instead he did the opposite, using his power as the President to boost his own profits through frequent visits to his hotels and golf courses, relentless promotion of his properties, and countless other interactions between the Trump Organization and the government. By keeping these properties, Trump provided corporate lobbyists, foreign actors, special interests and anyone else seeking political clout a way to gain access to his administration. Trump opened the presidency up for business, and for four years, influence was for sale.

Since Trump’s inauguration, CREW researchers meticulously tracked these conflicts of interest resulting from interactions between the Trump Organization and the government, or those trying to influence it. CREW’s tracking is rigorous but by no means comprehensive. There are likely hundreds, perhaps even thousands more conflicts that we have no way of knowing about. Four years and more than 3,700 conflicts of interest later, there is absolutely no doubt that Trump tried at every turn to use the presidency to benefit his bottom line.

One could say he flooded the zone with so much corruption it's disorienting.

yeah, not much in the way of TDS here :abgg2q.jpg: :26:

I wonder if you'd be willing to admit that isn't actually a denial of the things he's done? It's more of a complaint made against those who point them out.

Okay, we're off to a disappointing start. Anything of substance to add?
What can’t you just start another anti-Trump thread in politics? We could have a parallel thread listing all the Biden Family corruption.

Gosh, this is like a stroll down memory lane.

After campaigning on the promise that he wouldn’t have time to leave the White House or play golf, President Trump visited his properties 547 times while in office, paying 145 visits to Mar-a-Lago, 328 visits to his golf courses, and 33 visits to the Trump hotel in Washington. He often brought other senior government officials along, sending a message to his administration and those who would like to curry favor with it that his properties are open to their business.

There's been so much corruption much of it is easy to forget.

As I said in the OP.............."As always, comments from trump devotees are welcome. But if you plan on posting whataboutisms regarding the Biden's be prepared to support your accusations with factual, credible info."

But I'd really prefer that you start a separate thread about the Biden's, please.

15th post
Trump promoted his properties by conducting official business there. He held a press conference at Trump Tower, signed four executive orders at his Bedminster resort, and hosted eight heads of state at Mar-a-Lago. When he couldn’t promote his businesses and run the government at the same time, he opted to promote his businesses over doing his job. In November, for example, he signed out of a G-20 summit to visit his Virginia golf course.

Kinda like making official government announcements on the social media platform he has a financial interest in.

Nothing stopped businesses from starting up those projects before Trump did. They are necessary for our national security and economic growth, but not as lucrative as investing in Exxon pipelines from Russia to China and other foreign sweetheart deals 'hedge funds' love.
