Four people arrested in connection to shooting death of 17-year-old Aiken Co. victim

Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested people in connection to the April 13th shooting on the 100 block of Goodman Road in Jackson, South Carolina.

17-year-old Kahlil Simmons was shot dead and 16-year-old victim was injured.

Investigators charged 18-year-old Jared Grant Marsh II of Aiken with Murder and
Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime and 17-year-old Tyler Hans Lariscey of Aiken with Murder. Both were arrested Tuesday afternoon, April 21st, during a traffic stop.

Despite the arrests, the sheriff’s office said it’s continuing to investigate the shooting and the four who have been taken into custody could face additional charges.
