In a Republic, actually
"In his daily coronavirus briefings, Trump lumbers to the podium and pulls us into his world: detached from reality, unable to feel any emotions but anger and paranoia. Each time we watch, Trumpā€™s spiritual poverty increases our own, because for the duration of these performances, we are forced to live in the same agitated, immediate state that envelops him. (This also happens during Trumpā€™s soul-destroying rallies, but at least those are directed toward his fans, not an entire nation in peril.)"

Moreover, Trump supporters donā€™t care ā€“ they approve of Trumpā€™s lies, dishonesty, and self-centered narcissism that they themselves practice.

With Each Briefing, Trump Is Making Us Worse People

That's a premise that "requires the willing suspension of disbelief" to quote an anonymous c*nt from long ago....

The notion that you boy touchers, baby killers, convicts, substandard defects, queers, storm trooper dykes and unemployable shitstains are becoming MORE fucked up because of Trump's afternoon updates?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Fucking idiot.

I disagree. I find him encouraging in the manner of a coach in a tough situation.
Since you play for Americaā€™s opponents, it stands to reason that youā€™d object.

In the end, The Atlantic only shames, shames shames like Puritans.

Man you all are losing HARD :auiqs.jpg:

We are still better than your racist ass.
You are duly classified as a beast of burden not as smart as an ox or as beautiful as a horse. Poor pathetic little thing always relying on the race card because it is all you have. Take comfort in the myth dat you wuz kangs.
SO true. IM2 proves again and again, HE'S the most racist one on these threads. No one else is even close. Sorry, IM2, this IS the sad truth.
Are you actually a blues guy? Because if you are, you likely know way more about that part of IM2ā€™s ā€˜heritageā€™ than he does.
Most black baby boomers are from the Motown/soul/funk/hip-hop/smoovv jazz niche than they are blues. Most black musicians of that generation canā€™t play a lick of blues.
That's ridiculous. I'm from the Motown/Soul generation (i.e. Boomer) but I also love the blues, especially Chicago Blues (Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, etc). And I'm white!

Wow! What wild desperation! Given the author of this childish thread I'm not surprised.

As you know President Donald Trump, is doing a masterful job of handling one of the toughest crises in our history. His incredible handling and transparency will be studied for all history. The far left would rather stab a sharp stick in their own eye than admit he's not failing much less anything else.

Why not just kick back and bitterly accept the fact that you are witnessing greatness for the next five years. Then a few years later you can boast of what great president was Donald Trump and that you'd said it all along!

:D

All the more reason that a smart leader appoints an incident commander and lets them operate outside of the political space. Certainly, there is a need for input from the leadership but it should only be in a support capacity. The President (whomever they are) giving the briefings is almost always a bad idea. Dumbfuck Donald is exhibit A.

Here is an Example. You put Jane Doe in as your Incident Commander. Jane Doe has a PhD. from Harvard and has no political history. So when a reporter is in the audience at a press briefing; do they get to ask "When did you first know about this Mr. President." or "Do you take any responsibility for the slow response, Mr. President?"

Having the blob up there serves nobody other than the blob's ego to be in the spotlight. I'm sure the cheeto misses it.

Are Republicans who criticize Trump, especially the ones running advertisements that mock him and slam what they believe is a failed response to the COVID-19 crisis part of the left you hold responsible for being unfair to Trump? Is everyone who views Trump negatively part of your grand unfair to Trump conspiracy theory? Is it possible since over half of Americans believe their President is a failure and disapprove of his job performance you and other Trump supporters are delusional and in denial?

Nothing could make democrats a worse people than they already are.
Have you lost your job? Facing eviction? Have you been arrested cited or ticketed due to social laws? Thank a democrat. You owe them payback.

Yea if we had relied on republicans the numbers would still be going through the roof, because all they care about is the almighty dollar who cares if people die.
