Satan is fooling you.

You don't recieve forgiveness for following rules. You don't recieve forgiveness for confessing or even forsaking your sins.

You recieve forgiveness by the grace of God. There is absolutely nothing you can do to make God forgive you. If He wanted to, He could sentence you to the full force of Justice and He would be completely justified in doing so.

If you want justice, you will recieve justice. Personally, I want mercy. Because I've done a lot of stupid things in the past that would seriously impede me without the grace of God.

The reason for the Atonement of Christ is because there is nothing we can do to earn forgiveness. If we could, we wouldn't need it.

I would invite you to experiment on the Word of God and learn for yourself that Christ came and atoned for your sins. Maybe you aren't at the point where you will here His voice yet, but when the time is right and you are brought to your knees by life, just always remember that you can be Redeemed through Jesus Christ.

I have no idea...only God knows what's in a person's heart. When you ask for forgiveness, God knows what is in your heart and what you REALLY feel. If He saw that Dahmer was really repentant..then yes, he may be there!

So technically, we all have a free pass to do whatever we want - murder, pillage, rape, steal, extort, cheat, lie, have sex constantly with 30 people, etc - so long as we repent afterwards and truly mean it?

They were clothed in the Shekinah glow of God, the same glow Moses had when he descended from Mt Sinai. It was the absence of that cloak they realized. They weren't blind to their reproductive parts up until then, and we have no idea how long or how many children they had already had before the incident occurred.

Sorry Joe, but none of those things you mentioned were "sins".

No where in either the 7 Noahide Commandments or the 10 Commandments does it say that you cannot have sex with birth control, nor does it say that you cannot drink.

As a matter of fact, one of the first things Noah did when the Ark landed was to plant grapes so he could make wine.

Me personally? I think a lot of the Christians get it wrong. Why? Because they try to out purify each other to feel more righteous.

Kind of what the problem was with the Puritans and the witch burnings.

Any religion that says they are better than the others because of the way they believe (and worship God) is suspect.

We should all get together and try to share knowledge, because God speaks to each of us in a different way, but that's because he only speaks to us in language we already understand.

The more you know, the better you can listen to God.
