It should serve as a lesson to all who care about the nation that the best thing to do with insurgencies based on xenophobia and division that you don't humor it and take it lightly but destroy it. They arranged for the Florida case to be heard in Fort Pierce Florida. That is a Conservative Stronghold in the state. Donald Trump won the County in the election of 2020.

Short of putting his family on the Jury it would be difficult to imagine a more favorable location.

I was just asking....I'm legitimately unaware of any statute that guarantees the former Presidents secret service protection for life regardless of their behavior.

If the docs don't put him in prison, every person who has been charged with mishandling of classified documents should ask for a new trial or ask to immediately be released do to the precedent letting trump walk would set. trump has committed more serious crimes than most of those sitting in jail who mishandled classified docs. And he has not and will not show any sign of remorse. The jury should and will take note.
