Has he "matured" after the campaign :eusa_think: More likely, he doesn't want to piss-off the business community (his future employers, unless the corruption in Washington is cleaned up)

His position is probably safe. He's well enough entrenched in the DC Sty and GOP Shit House to get plenty campaign $$$$ from the Republican Money Baggers.

Ryan has learned that he and the other powerhouses can't let the reactionary TeaPs hold their legislative goals hostage to reactionary nonsense.

Any far right challenge to Ryan would be a disaster to the far right hopes.

Challenge? There is no challenge. Unlike democrats republicans do not annoint a front runner. Oaul Ryan was never assumed to be the candidate so there is nothing to challenge.

He might not get challenged, but the more vulnerable ones will.

Good.

At least we know where people stand.

Ryan should and will be challenged. And our republic will be better for it, regardless of outcome!!

Why would anyone be opposed to challenging incumbent politicians? Walk the walk bitches!

The Republican Party is now at Civil War, the mainstream Republicans like Paul Ryan against the TeaP far reactionary right.

Finally!

We will smash this evil on the far right like a rotten watermelon.

Much will depend on what's in the proposed budget. But Ryan's making it available for review before inspection so an intelligent decision can be made concerning it and whether or not he needs to be "primaried". Unlike certain other measures "you have to pass in order to see what's in......"

Garbage.

In my state, they primaried out the last of the moderates. Conservatives already owned the house and they just took over the senate.

The reactionary right as you like to refer to them, basically silenced people like you. Now they are digging into the school boards. In this last election, they got a majority of board members in the district next to the one I live in. The next day, the (very liberal) super resigned. The NEA pours tons of money into these local elections in an effort to get mods or dems in. It's a huge waste of time and money...and they are figuring that out.

That is going on in adjoining states. As much as you'd like to keep flapping it about the Tea Party (of which I am not a member), you should realize that many very conservative indivuduals are not members of the Tea Party, but are just as passionate about small government and shrunken fed.
