Will men return to the moon?

Who filmed Neil Armstrong stepping onto the lunar surface the first time?

Who filmed the capsule lifting off and then brought the film back? Or were they hooked up to wifi?

When Armstrong stepped out on the porch of the ladder, he pulled a lanyard that was connected to a tool pack known as the MESA, which was a pallet like panel on the outside of the LM. Once the MESA was deployed, it contained a camera that was aimed at the ladder. From inside the lander, Aldrin started the camera. At that point Armstrong proceeded down the ladder as the camera, now running, filmed his moves. Once on the surface, then Armstrong removed the camera and put it on a tripod placing it on the surface of the moon.

How far away was he from the camera?

Questions by all are answered by the actual film taken when he stepped onto the moon.

Essentially, man first walked on the moon because of political reasons, and not really scientific ones. Simply put, those scientists getting the US to the moon were all pawns in the Cold War against the Soviets to beat the Soviets to the moon. It was all for propaganda purposes, something the US wanted badly since the Soviets beat the US into space.

But today, is there still enough political motivation to pay scientists to return to the moon? Apparently there is.

Sources within NASA have leaked a plan for the US to return to the moon, not to beat the Russians this time, but to put the first black woman on the moon, all to appease the DEI, PC crowd, ideology that the US is now shoving down the throats of every country in the world, as we see with the money flowing from USAID.

Votto, it all depends, and forget DEI.

Is there something on the moonscape to help us? Mineral? Something, anything? Do we need a moon base, and if so, why?

It is like you and I going into the Gobi desert and finding NOTHING, lol. Why would we spend money to go back?

Trust me.........if they are going back to the moon, it is for a far different reason than DEI, lol. Oh sure, they may use that as a reason, but that in itself tells you-------->they are as full of sh** as a Thanksgiving Turkey-)

There could be gold deposits on the moon and it wouldn’t be economical to go get them.

The reality is that there is not any economical benefits for sending man to the moon or Mars.

It is just a good photo-op

Race to where, Mars? :auiqs.jpg:
No, the moon.

There might possibly be water there, in only one particular location. Water is extremely expensive to take into space due to its weight.

It is currently used for fuel, and many other operations. It is vital. The folks that claim the possible moon water will dominate space for the next century.

First contact: in quest for water on the moon, Chinese team flags risk in touching ice

Scientists warn water on the moon is locked in frozen soil, not exposed to air and held in place only by cold and vacuum

". . . . China has repeatedly said that the hunt for ice will be the Chang’e-7 mission’s top priority. It is among a series of increasingly complex lunar exploration missions aimed at testing key technologies and paving the way for a research base near the moon’s south pole by around 2035.. . "

The potential water interest supposedly is at the southern pole of the moon. The Apollo project capabilities landed much closer to the equator.

. . and?

Here are the nine sites where Artemis 3 might land on the Moon

NASA has identified nine locations near the Moon’s south pole for the first crewed lunar landing since Apollo 17.

Define "man"
