They might ,but if recent history is an indicator, according to court records where judges reject gerrymandering of Republican legislative plans for redistricting to distort the voting power in their favor, purges of voter records in Georgia shortly before election, moving voting location the week before election from Democratic leaning minority area in town to miles outside of town in Oklahoma to suppress voting in 2016 forcing those voter to drive or catch a ride clean out of town to vote, the convicted felon working to elect a Republican Congressional candidate that (if I an not wrong) is still in jail for collecting and filling out absentee ballots in two Democrat leaning counties that invalidated a Congressional election in north Carolina causing a re-vote, tend to indicate Republican shenanigans. Sure I have heard about Democratic ballot stuffing in Chicago in the late 60s during the Daily days, and have personal concerns about motor voter registration in states like California, but I have seen no court cases to show it to be a real problem other than fake news from the right again. I don't really trust either party, but lately it seems to be cheating on the Republican side that is being caught and frankly consider it kind of amazing that people are getting caught more in the Red states than the Blue states. If you have recent court cases or rulings otherwise, I'd be glad to hear about them, if you want to post them.
