We already have a progressive tax system right? But it's not as progressive as it once was. I say all the time don't just roll back the Bush tax breaks, roll back Reagans tax breaks too. That money used to pay for infrastructure.

So since Reagan and Bush and Trump's tax breaks, they've made it a lot less progressive. But it's still progressive.

So how is that communism if I suggest raising taxes on the rich? Or undoing tax breaks Bush Trump and Reagan should have never given? Were we a communist country before Reagan took office?

Let me use my brother as a personal example. Since 1978 to now CEO pay has gone up 1322%. So too has my brothers pay. Not that much but a lot. He's a VP of a Fortune 500, or at least he is still paid as much as one. He's not the VP of HR anymore but very helpful to the new HR VP. Point being, lots of these VP's at the top making more than ever. Let's just make it easy and say since the time you think us "commies" have started taking over the country, the rich are laughing at you dude. They've never been richer. Capitalism is working exactly as it should if you ask them. They've never been richer. And the middle class/poor are paying for it.

So don't call what's happening communism. Or us fighting back when they wage class warfare on us socialism. Don't call us fighting back socialism or communism. Realize it's CapitalISM that's failing our middle class.

But my brother, in April is retiring for a year. Gets a year salary. Golden Parachute anyone? 54 years old. Has MILLIONS in the bank. Can live off the interest. But probably after he sits out a year, he'll be pulled back in to do consulting work, for a shit tone of money. More than you make.

I notice today Republicans are worried about the middle class struggling. But in the 2000's when Bush was president they said it was better for 100 guys to be working for $50K a year than it is 50 guys making $100K. Inflation or not, that proves the GOP are not good for the middle class.
