That ballistics "head" video doesn't show anything meaningful. Charlie Kirk wasn't shot in the middle of the face, he was shot in the neck. And from 140 yards away. His entire body lurched at the impact of the bullet.

I have no reason to doubt it wasn't a 30-06. Until someone can prove it wasn't.

Right. And they say his neck stopped the round and was lodged in him. LOL. A .30-06 goes through half-inch steel plate. No he wasn't wearing body armor, Erika confirmed it, before you say what I know you are going to say.

I want too see the ballistics expert witness who will say Charlie's neck bone stopped a .30-06 round. He will be laughed out of the profession.

Dupe thread. That video is old and was shown here before. Proves nothing. It is a simulated shot in a simulated dummy, not even hitting it in the throat where Kirk was at. Kirk was a unique situation and no one knows the exact state of the round fired nor the exact conditions or trajectory once it penetrated Kirk's body.

The fact is, a shot was fired, Kirk was hit in the throat, and he died, and fortunately by some miracle, no one else was hurt.

One curious fact of the incident is that before he was shot,

1. He had just answered a question,
2. Then he sat the mike down on the table, arms at sides,
3. Closed his eyes and appeared to stiffen up just listening as the other person spoke,
4. When the shot was fired, Kirk was hit, his body jerked,
5. Then his arms came up with mic still in hand as he began to fall to the side bleeding.

And there was no blood splatter behind him from any exit wound.

There has been no official ballistics report released.

For all that anyone knows, the shooter may have altered it intending it just for this use.
