Shannon Owens, the wife of the late Pope County Sheriffs Deputy, Josh Owen, who was gunned down in the line of duty, told VP candidate Tim Walz if he showed up at th funeral she'd "escort his ass out of here."

This began when Walz called the widow, after her husband had been killed. She said "I took the phone call. I didn’t say much. I just let him ramble because that is what politicians do,” she told the Telegraph.

“I said, ‘Are you planning on coming to the funeral’ and he said, ‘Of course I’d be honored to come’ and I said, ‘Well, you’re not welcome.’ And he’s like, ‘Why is that?’ And I said, ‘Because you defunded the police. You don’t even support the police, why would I want you to come?’

Shannon also said “And Josh did not like him at all. And that would have been his wishes to not have any corrupt politicians there."
The cop was upset with law enforcement reforms put in place after the death of George Floyd, which sparked nationwide protests.
After Floyd’s death, Walz signed a bill that banned chokeholds and mandated that officers report and intervene when fellow officers use excessive force.

He also established a state investigation unit for police officers as well as a database for police misconduct. In 2023, he signed a bill limiting no-knock warrants.

Walz “went too far” in introducing reforms after Floyd’s death, Shannon said.

Lol what a dumb woman

She's just not into a weirdo that raped high school boys and guzzled horse cum to the point of being hospitalized.

That seems reasonable.

The idea of weakening police had a surge in popularity after millions of gullibles were dupe by the George Floyd con job.

Truth ordinarily rises to the top, and the anti-police hysteria is now, except for a few leftist loons, justifiably buried.

I hope she sues Walz. Her husband's death is his fault.

Walz let his cities burn ~S~
I will never forget that as the 200 business fires were burning, I could see the smoke plume from Mpls 40 miles away for days.
When getting closer to the city during my commute, it looked like the area was pummeled with bombs.
A police station burned to the ground along with Federal buildings damaged and Post offices damaged.
A true Insurrection by its very definition of an attack on civil authority.
