So, the Republicans showed the new "Party of No" how to play winning politics.

For one, it protects teachers from being fired for the reason of subject matter being taught. They say it's for intellectual integrity, and so that a power hungry principle can't force them to teach something they dont' want to.

So I ask you. Would that work in the military? What if Lts and Sgts were told that they cannot be fired on the basis of what they are teaching their subordinates? Wouldn't work would it?

um no what i posted are facts. Walker hasnt compromised on anything. The unions and Dems where willing to meet a lot of his desires.
Tax payers only pay 5% into the benefits of the unions.
Walker was pranked and in that prank we got to see how low Walker was willing to go.
The Republicans removed a bunch of provisions, in order to vote without the dems being there. In which they barred the dems from entering for a couple of hours.

I was a long time union member and I believe unions have their place in the private sector but not in public service. Would you want your military to have the right to vote on supporting military action or not? When I see groups like SDS and Communist party on union picket lines it makes me sick. Ummm.............thats my point. The type of tenure teachers get would not work in the military, or nearly any other profession where efficiency and job performance mattered. What you explained isn't that foreign, police depts do it the same way. And of course getting "fired" through reassignment happens. It seems maybe it's YOU that doesn't have a grasp on what teacher tenure really is.........
