There have been MANY young people killed over the shoes they were wearing. I think it all started with Air Jordans. The whole market of super valuable sneakers sprang up. I heard that a pair of MJ basketball shoes sold for over $1.3 million recently. It's insane.

Why would anyone spend $1400 on a NEW pair of sneakers? SMH. I have trouble justifying spending over $50 for a pair.
