If God has the power to create the universe, there is no need to have humans do his bidding. If God wants people to be Christians or Muslims or any other religion, there wouldn't be any other religion except the one God wanted. But it's not God that makes religion, it's people. If God wants something done, God doesn't need people to do it for him. God doesn't need anyone to speak for him...or her...or them(Genesis 3:22)
An omnipotent being doesn't need a war to end evil. It was created it with a thought, and can end it the same way. But God allows it to do it's purpose, which gives a choice. The function of evil is to destroy, so logically it will destroy itself. Just like if someone becomes evil, they destroy themselves.
End evil? Evil is a counter point for good. Good cannot exist without evil and vice versa. We cannot be good without choosing it over evil.
Good and evil are eternal states of being. They have always existed. How do I know? Because God is Eternal. He is good and He has always existed. If good has always existed, so has its opposite.
The plan of redemption was put in place because all of us do evil at some point. If God were to appear to us in our fallen state we would be destroyed for our corruptness cannot exist in His Holy presence.
So God calls and prepares men to teach us His plan. So that we might prepare ourselves through the atonement of His Son to enter into His presence. We can be purified and born again with a New nature.
If God did things your way, we would all be immediately killed. Personally I am.glad the Lord has mercy on us to give us a probationary period to repent and come to Him
So part of God's plan for His most beloved of creations is to inflict all kinds of evil and pain on them for His own ends?
Said it before, say it again...God works in mysterious, dickish ways.
Does a a personal trainer inflict evil and pain on people for his own end?
Achy muscles is totally the same thing as pediatric leukemia, natural disasters, and allowing bloody wars in His name. I'm sure when a mother dies she's met by St. Peter who says, "sorry about your baby, but think of the personal growth opportunities you had."
