The reason why I think Newsom won't be the nominee is primarily the DOJ investigation into him and his wife.

It looks serious, but never underestimate the abilities of the dumocraps to protect their own if it is in their interests. It will take decades to get a conviction of Newsom, and that's IF you can find a non-partisan judge and jury. Until then they'll just spin the investigation as lawfare. Anyway, if there is one thing we have learned, never underestimate the dumocraps, ever. They are the slimiest, most deceitful people on the planet.
