They did not "break" into a home.

First one needs to have information that there is something still at Mar O Lago. Then one writes an affidavit detailing what is going to need a search warrant for.

The FBI did inform the Secret service before they arrived at Mar O Lago, they were let in to do their job.

Apparently someone at Mar O Lago may have seen that those classified and Top Secret documents had not been returned in January and let the proper authorities know about it.

Trump's lawyer signed an affidavit saying that there were no more documents there, in June. Apparently he may have lied in the Affidavit .

Who was claiming victory?

The investigation is ongoing as to how the documents ended at Mar O Lago and whether Trump had actually declassified them and how.

There is an agency and process for declassifying documents and the agency was not aware of them being declassified.

No Federal Judge will grant a search warrant unless it has merit.

No Affidavit can be shown, NONE, before all of the investigation is over.
