Van Jones 'Whitelash' phrase cannot explain why low income rural white voters in Pennsylvania voted for Obama in 2008, and then Trump in 2016!

And Van Jones explanation is that Trumps election is a result of white supremacy ('whitelash')?

Interesting, but doesn't hold up in the 'real world'.
