Not only not cute, one of the reasons why westerners must not Cosplay is because westerners look much older than their real age while Anime characters are based on Asians including based on Asians genetically youthful appearance. So to compensate this westerners have to use their western childrens in order to look as younger as the Anime characters they want to imitate.
Unlike Asians who don't need to use Asian childrens to look like Anime characters on the age level :
