Maybe. It's also possible he was goaded into it by others. We'll have to see what the investigation reveals. His boyfriend is said to be cooperating, even if he isn't. And it sounds like there's lots of online convos and such that might give us some insight.

Young people are not being raised properly... I saw this clip of a talk Kirk gave on illegals and this young woman didn't seem to listen to what he was saying, just wanted to go on and on about how.. Well, the Bible says Love your neighbor. .. etc.. Kirk said it is not unloving to have a secure border. She didn't even respond to t hat, but just brought up another psg in Exodus and etc... it went on like that several minutes.. She didn't respond to anything he said, just wanted to make her own points.

Democrats did not have any reason to halt Charlie's debate, the youth vote of Trump's have been leaving in droves for their support for Trump they had in Nov of 2024. They don't like what Trump, has done and not done.
