It's not so important why Robinson pulled the trigger as it is why his Deep State handlers put him up to it, using a gaming social media hub to communicate with him. All they needed was a kook like him (or Thomas Crooks) who already had their own demented reasons to hate. However, the Deep State's reason is based on a very sober yet cold bit of logic: Charlie Kirk was cultivating and empowering a new generation of conservative politically aware patriots. I don't think specific words are what got Kirk killed. The over the top fear mongering from the left probably influenced Robinson, but that's not what's going on in our conversations here. Honest debate allows for the use of words that might be provocative to some. Near as I can tell, that's what Kirk was all about. He wasn't afraid to speak honestly, even if it the words he used could be plucked from their context and distorted into a false representation.

That said, I'm not denying that there is a violent underbelly of the left that wants this kind of violence. I'm curious how much Robinson tapped into that world, how he was radicalized and by whom. But we can't let it turn into a vendetta, and I'm worried that's all Trump is capable of.
