Why there is no such thing as racism against white people

Since Japan is suffering to this day from white imperialism and aggression, any Japanese citizen would be justified in mistrusting a white person, given that whites were the oens who dropped nuclear weapons on two civilian cities.
Is it your contention that justified racism is not racism?

In any case, prejudice against whites in Japan existed long before nuclear devices were detonated there.
Once again, people of color cannot be racist, since racism requires power and prejudice. .....

It takes a liberal to embrace a notion so stupid and deliberately divisive.

4 'Reverse Racism' Myths That Need To Stop | Huffington Post

7 reasons why reverse racism doesn't exist

Racism requires power and privelege to exist.

People of color do not have any power or privilege in this white dominated society. This is shown by the fact that people of color are FAR more likely to be sentenced to prison while whites get off on plea deals for the same exact crimes.

Sure, there may be a few rich people of color in this country, but even the richest African American in the US still gets racially profiled by police. Even Senator Tim Scott (who is a Republican, by the way) has openly talked about being profiled by police for his skin color. Even President Obama, back when he was a senator, used to see people lock their car doors as he walked by, showing that people of color in all walks of life still face plenty of hate and discrimination.

Because racism requires power and privelege, and since whites are the only racial group with institutional power and privelege in this country, only whites can be racist. Saying that racism against whites exists is like saying 2 plus 2 equals 800. It's just not factually possible.

And don't try to give me any bullshit from the oxford dictionary or webster dictionary about what their definition of racism is. These dictionaries were written by old white men who never experienced racism in their lives, and therefore should not be trusted to provide an accurate, unbiased definition of the word.

In my professional life, I have worked for 3 companies that were owned or run by blacks. That gave them power over a number of people. While the numbers to not compare to national averages, your "racism doesn't exist" is obviously nonsense.

I do like that you added the "don't try to give me any bullshit from the oxford dictionary or webster dictionary". That is hilarious. But words DO have meanings. And you can't throw out the standard definition just because it does not fit your claims.

Racism is not about power. While power allows you to act on your hatred, it is not a requirement. Just because someone has no power, you cannot claim they do not hate someone based solely on race, without even knowing them. And THAT, kind sir, is racism.

The word racism is only several decades old.

When dealing with semantics from present day, the correct definition refers to the current popular usage of the word. Unless you can find the first couple people that ever said it in context.

I am not a liberal. I am a socialist.

Liberals are people who have a few good ideas here and there, but lack any courage or drive to see true and lasting change implemented.

Even if a person of color owns a business, they still suffer from institutional racism and are hurt by police profiling, and the fact they had to work twice as hard just to get where they are than any white person with a silver spoon born in his mouth. THerefore, even if a person of color is a CEO, they still do not have institutional power, and cannot be racist.

Socialists are also not getting elected in any serious numbers. So some of the liberals you decry as cowards are getting more of your agenda accomplished than socialists.

That speaks volumes.

So a poor white guy, with no power, can be racist. But a rich black man cannot? That is laughably ridiculous.

I believe that all citizens of this country should be provided a minimum income of around $4000 a year to all residents of the country, regardless of whether or not they work (which was actually a proposed law in the 1970's). We should also raise the minimum wage to a least $15, and in the case of those who cannot afford or are unable to house themselves, provide housing for these individuals.

These initiatives pay for themselves. We spend FAR more on incarcerating, arresting, and sentencing the poor and impoverished, and then arresting and incarcerating them again and again due to our fucked up justice system. In fact, the state of UTAH, one of THE most republican states, is trying to give free apartments to all homeless people. It costs their state less to give an apartment to every homeless person than it does to keep arresting, punishing, and policing the homeless. Utah Reduced Chronic Homelessness By 91 Percent; Here's How

The money for these initiatives could also be supplemented with defense cuts, if necessary. We do not need military bases in 80 countries.

It is fortunate that dimwits like you are so utterly powerless and irrelevant.
