Do you feel the need to dismiss his expert opinion because it disagrees with yours or because you can't refute any of what he wrote?

His simplistic cherry picking? ivory tower professors aren’t reliable in predicting anything IMO. More often than not they’re trying to claim “expert” just to advance their ideological agenda. He’s just the latest pundit fear mongering. There’s no substance, I don’t think he wants to come to a complex truth at all. Seems like a simpleton elitist.

As for lessons from the election I was reminded that the incumbent party will always face difficulty escaping blame by the public for everything that goes on while it is in power. Including global, post-COVID inflation over which it had little to no control. What I learned is if voters get sufficiently upset about inflation they will vote for a traitor when convinced he will make their lives better despite evidence to the contrary.
