It's a sticky topic and I believe that many rank-and-file Christians do want to express a certain form of agape toward us Jews. I really, really want to believe it.
But the Televangelists, the ones who make $$$ off of the "We lose Israel" cottage industry, I do think they are not nearly as loving and indeed, they only hope that we Jews stay alive long enough to fullfill their end-times eschatology, which means they want us to die at a time that passes their "prophecy" from the last book of the New Testament.
SCARY.
I have no part with the televangelists. I love Israel because God put it into my heart to love Israel. I love the Jewish people because God put it into my heart to love the Jewish people and I do not ever remember a time when I didn't love them. Even before I became a Christian I loved the Jewish people. I truly do not mind the accusations or skeptics who doubt my sincerity. Because one day - when all Israel is saved - there will be Jews that I know and love who will say to me - I see that you were right about Jesus being my Messiah. And why you never stopped loving me. And then they will know that the love I have for them came from God. Not myself. How else could I feel such a genuine love in my heart for Guno if not for the fact that Christs' love comes from God's own heart and not my own?

I am sorry. Is that what I led you to believe I was saying? That all the Jews will be converted and be in heaven? No. I know that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are in heaven. I know that the Prophets of the LORD, Samuel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Obadiah, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Amos and many others are in heaven now.
But the Jews who reject Christ when they know he is Messiah? They are not only of this generation but were on the earth when Jesus walked among them.
The Word of God is clear that many religious leaders knew that Jesus was the Messiah but they feared being thrown out of the synagogues and so they denied him. See John 12:42.
Because they loved the praises of men more than the praises of God. Once you know Jesus is Messiah and deny Him? There is nothing else. There have been Jews and Gentiles who have done this throughout the ages to their own harm. Hell is full of such people even now. You can be sure they are begging for another opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior but it is too late for them now.
Think about Karl Marx who was a Jew but chose to serve Satan. Think about Aleister Crowley who was a Jew but chose to serve Satan. Those men are in hell suffering unspeakable torments to this very day and will continue to suffer throughout eternity.
Surely the Word of God has already declared the truth in the matter - not every Jew is a Jew but some are of the synagogue of Satan. I am not speaking of Jews who have sold their birthright for the praise of mortal men / their own pride / or some temporary powers with Satan and his workers but rather the Jews whom the LORD knew feared his name and sought to obey him and keep His Word.
There is only one way to enter into heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. We are justified by our faith, not our works. The reason the Jews have not recognized Messiah was only for a season that the whole world might have an opportunity for salvation. Some Jews have had their eyes opened to recognize Jesus Christ is their Messiah and have received Him but many more have not. (Yet)
