I don't need to. The actions of so-called Christians show it. The fact that they support Trump shows it. Jesus said "Love your neighbor as you love yourself," and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." He didn't say love everyone but trans and queers. And Jesus tells us not to be concerned about the things we need; we are to depend upon God. He did not create work requirements. There is very little that the right-wing Christian Nationalist believes that is in alignment with the lord. You are modern-day Pharisees. You can quote scripture and have made up a bunch of rules, but you have no mercy in your hearts.

As a Christian I don't hate trans and queers but I don't accept them as normal, nor do I think they should have special rights, nor do I think they should inflict themselves on normal society. I have a gay nephew who I love very much, but both he and I know he isn't normal sexually. Oh, that other gays could face that reality. They might be a little more circumspect in their public behavior.

But I think the key is that Judeo-Christian traditions led to the freest and most prosperous country on earth, which is the problem.

Both Islam and the Left detest such freedoms, for different reasons. For the Leftist, there is an earth to save, which means minimizing your carbon output at every turn possible. Your freedoms are destroying their mother earth and using up it's precious natural resources. And for Islam, it is all about your moral freedoms as well. But both philosophies are really a political ideology, as the Left denies the existence of God as they then give full power to the state as if they were God, and Islam is mostly about spreading global Sharia law. Both require a fascistic power hold on any and all freedoms around the globe.
