In Fall, 2019, Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, was statistically tied in Kentucky polling with the Democratic Party challenger, to take his place, already. The state is not as pro-Trump as it once was, but clearly: The long-serving Senator is not the candidate raising new electable interest in Kentucky.

Democrat challenging Mitch McConnell raises $10.7 million in third quarter

What anybody sees recently is McConnell saying "Trump" even more than Trump says, "Perfect," Corruption," "Nothing" and "Wrong," combined. The Democrat has taken over the small-donor base statewide in Kentucky, already.

The recent "Spike" in the Trump approval ratings is still comparatively low by a dozen points or more--compared to other Presidents. The Democrats did not make propaganda talking points during the hearings. It even took one or two Republicans to holler "Corruption," after release of the Implicating July 25 Phone Call. The subject had not been raised in the phone call, from what is shown. Then they all behaved is though every sentence in the call use the "Corruption-Word" Twice!

To compare: Pelosi is from California. House Minority Leader, McCarty: Was used to highlight the Republican case against impeachment--a kind of parallel alternative reality with McConnell.

There are really no other Republicans--Nunes and McCarthy, more or less only--In California. RNC leaves a "Vast Wasteland" behind, wherever it is seen to go!

And that is based on a lot of election polling!

Pelosi can afford to wait: Maybe for another insulting remark about a recently deceased politician, or maybe another factually inaccurate: Record for the History Books--to be waved in Brandon's classes going forward.

Pelosi can afford to wait. The likely further decline of Trump approval and support works against Mitch McConnell.

Pelosi and the rest of the House Dems can stay home if they want.

That would be awesome. A vote to normalize political corruption on such a grand scale will go over very well with Americans I'm, sure.

Nah, it'd be a vote to acquit Trump.

It is a vote to accept and normalize his corrupt shakedown scheme.

Just like a vote to acquit Bill was to accept that he lied about a blow job. I can accept/emphasize that type of corruption.

McConnell has no independent approval rating in Kentucky on which to rely. So McConnell is making news with every other sentence a reference to Donald Trump. In the interim, Donald John Trump keeps tarnishing himself. The gender unfriendly letter was not something sent around to court favor among GOP Suburban Housewives, nor the reference to the deceased politician.

The RNC tried to paint Trump as a victim. Trump himself took that away from RNC.

Trump created a run-amok vicious and, baseless, unwarranted bully-aggressor profile again: Abusing even sensibilities. Then many can equate that with Abuse of Power, others pointing out that it is just one of Trump's many Abuse-of-Power level forms.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Pharaoh is shown to have claimed that the did nothing wrong, even! Many Republicans agree!)

That's why Bill spent nearly $1 million to make it go away.

The diminishing value of Trump to a Senator's re-election started with the vote. Now there is less and less to whine about from the investigations news. Going forward will be the concept, "Fair Trial" evaluating the evidence, plus Trump being asinine as usual. That replaces "Trump The Victim" in the news.
