I was correct. If people think the GOP wanted voter ID to suppress the black vote then that strategy failed because blacks voted in larger numbers after the laws were enacted.

My county is almost as 'liberal' and 'Democratic' as they come, and it required photo ID to vote.

So 'Blue' and 'Red' are both responsible for the photo ID thing.
