Trump didn’t visit Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day in 2018, when he was president. But he visited it today in a shameful political attempt to deflect all the revived reports of his life-long disdain for military service and those patriots who died defending the USA.

Arlington National Cemetery has rules for visitors. Among them is this rule:


“If it endorses the cause of a political party.” CHECK


“if it has a primary purpose to gain publicity” CHECK

How did President Bone Spurs get approval for this disgrace? Who disregarded Arlington’s policy for political reasons?

ARLINGTON – On the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate bombing in Afghanistan that claimed the lives of 13 American servicemembers, Congressman Darell Issa (CA-48) participated in wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery at the invitation of the Gold Star families of the fallen. Attending the ceremony alongside Issa were President Donald Trump and House colleagues (as well as fellow veterans) Brian Mast (FL-21), Cory Mills (FL-07), and Mike Waltz (FL-06).

“Today marks three years since that terrible afternoon in Afghanistan when 13 of our very best made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, their calling, and their comrades in arms,” said Rep. Issa. “I was proud to join my colleagues, Reps. Mast, Mills, and Waltz, in guaranteeing that we will never forget the sacrifice of these 13, their families, and the other servicemembers injured in the tragic bombing at Abbey Gate.”

“I especially want to thank President Trump for being at Arlington today. In private as in public, he gives these Gold Star families a human touch, a heartfelt understanding, and always the respect for their grief and loss. What a contrast to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who to this day refuse to host these families at the White House, meet in person, or even say in public the names of their loved ones. I believe when the failures of this administration are dutifully written, the catastrophe of the Afghanistan withdrawal and the callousness with which Biden and Harris cast aside these families will be chapter one.”
