OU.S. Removal of Panels Honoring Black Soldiers At WWII Cemetery In The Netherlands draws backlash

Fact, not an excuse.
It's an excuse.

The panels were reportedly rotated out in early March, one month after President Donald Trump’s executive order terminated diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, initiatives across the federal government.

The same month the panels were removed, The Heritage Foundation, a right-wing think tank, contacted the ABMC for its supposed failure to comply with Trump’s anti-DEI initiatives.

“ABMC is fully compliant with the president’s executive order,” wrote its chief of public affairs to Heritage. “ABMC does not have a stand-alone DEI office or any DEI contracts. ABMC’s chief diversity officer has been placed on administrative leave, pending additional guidance from [the Office of Personnel Management].”

Priscilla Rayson, ABMC’s chief diversity officer, was placed on administrative leave shortly thereafter.

Yes name one.
Are you really this obtuse?

You posts show just how dishonest whites on the right are when it comes to the issue of race.

Old debunked news, the panels were part of a moving monument and are now at another location
But whatever you all can do to deflect from the Epstein files
Yeah I figured it was classic Trump Bashing trigger bait. And look at all of the hooked fishies! LOL :auiqs.jpg:

Maybe Rosie O'donuts found out those panels were made of edible fibers.

Its MSDNC. Take it with a grain of salt.
Is anyone crazy enough to believe Trump ordered this specifically?

Some beauracrat decided this had to be done to comply with an E.O.

Bad Karma.

People are upset that monuments specifically honor black veterans ignore that German POW's were often times treated better than black soldiers.

You've heard of Tony Bennett?

Benedetto stayed in Germany as part of the occupying force but was assigned to an informal Special Services band unit that would entertain nearby American forces. His dining with a black friend from high school—at a time when the Army was still racially segregated—led to his being demoted and reassigned to Graves Registration Service duties.Subsequently, he sang with the 314th Army Special Services Band under the stage name Joe Bari He played with many musicians who would have post-war careers.

He was in Germany and saw a black friend, and I heard him tell the story about some Master Sgt. from the south who saw this and started screaming at him and had him punished, and they took rank from him, for eating with his black friend from New York. That greatly upset him and he spoke of this frequently. This is why there are separate plaques and markers for black soldiers, it was never a level playing field. I don't hear the same complaints from many of you about the Windtalkers, who are honored for speaking their native language that the enemy could not decipher.
The windtalkers are presented as heroes not victims. There ethnicity was relevant, as it was the reason they had that "code" language that the enemy was extremely unlikely to have studied.

We can mourn victims, but we should not honor them as if their victimhood is an accomplishment.

Treating victimhood as an accomplishment and a creator of entitlement is the attitude that is holding many (but fewer and fewer) blacks back from full participation in the great opportunity that is living in the United States.

You racists really need to STFU. Here is an example of what's holding us back:

“I can say for sure that happens because I did it. Before retirement, I was an Engineer. For the last 20 years of my career, I was a Manager and Director and I hired hundreds of people. I reviewed well over a thousand resumes for all kinds of positions. Everything from Secretaries to Engineering Managers. Both Salary and Hourly. I always culled out the resumes with Black Ethnic names. Never shortlisted anybody with a Black Ethnic name. Never hired them.”

Since the Fortune 50 company I worked for had a stupid “affirmative action” hiring policies I never mentioned it to anybody and I always got away with it. A couple of times I was instructed to improve my departmental “diversity” demographics but I always ignored it and never got into any trouble. My stereotype is that anybody with a stupid ghetto Black ethnic name is probably worthless. I could have been wrong a couple of times but I was also probably right 99% of the time.

Glad I did it. I would do it again.”

Flash, white USMB member- 2020.

The windtalkers are being celebrated in the exact same way. Those soldiers are not being celebrated for being victims, you racist SOB. They're being celebrated for what they did that was ignored by whites in America, so they could lie to each other about how the white man did everything in this country.

Found that monument to “white people” yet? We are all waiting.
I showed you one. How many more do you need to see? Lincoln is white, His monument is a monument of a white person. It is a monument to whites.

Here is another one.

You want to deny and play childish games. I'm a grown ass man, I won't be participating in your denial of reality. These are statues of white people.

I don’t think you understand the assignment

What part of that is ok?

The part that it was part of normal rotation of panels. Already explained.

It was presented as part of the push against dei, but that was false.

It "SEEMED" wrong, but that was a trick. It was not what you were led to believe it was.

If you were serious about your stated reasons, you would be angry with the people pushing this lie, because they are undermining your side's position, if any REAL racism shows up.

BUT, on some level, you know it is all bullshit like this, so you will keep supporting it.
