A lot of it from some in law enforcement who abused others' rights over many years along with some judges. Many affected never forgot. They grinned and beared it. Powerless. Until it slowly changed. And in some areas the change went too far. In other areas not far enough. Turning the cheek only works so much. Get a lawyer if needed.
