Why is Trump publicly calling out Canada, Mexico, Greenland and Panama Canal? Didnt he campaign on confronting China? Come on Trump

They aren’t? You handling the finances? Haha you know how stupid you sound?
Denmark has stated it has no interest in selling Greenland. If we offered them a cool billion and they took it, thats fine, but they don't want to sell.

Because they aren't going to be bought.
Well they aren’t the ones that would put themselves up for sale.

Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

If Denmark doesn’t want to sell, then so be it

This isn’t rocket science

Yep, but they listened last trump term

Canada is no friend either.

Canada and Mexico have both been giving us the shaft. Mexico is just the one that gets all of the press.

Our Northern border is just as bad as our Southern border. Canada is letting illegals thru in record numbers.
It’s a borderline socialist country that uses the US for military protection and $$$

This obviously isn't coming originally from Trump, and it's clear we'll be seeing a lot more crazy shit coming out over the next year.

This is imperialist philosophy, and I wouldn't be surprised if people like Stephen Miller were behind it, seeding Trump with "ideas".

Trump is in a rage over his perceived victimhood, and ripe for the picking. The Alt Rightists around him will be more than happy to oblige.

Lebensraum.

From the "Biden is as sharp as a...what do you call it...you know, the THING! C'mon, Man!" Party

No party put them up for sale, you realize that right?

We gave up control. It’s not without its limits

It requires neutrality. What part of that don’t you get?
No - and instead of endlessly reiterating your "personal" opinion

Show me that treaty/agreement signed upon 1999 - that would support your personal opinion.

But after decades of tensions around the canal, the Carter administration signed two treaties in 1977 with Panama’s military dictator, Omar Torrijos, to transition control of the vital shipping passage over to Panama. Under the terms of those treaties, Panama would gain control of the canal by 1999 and the U.S. would retain the right to defend the canal from any threat to its neutrality.

I don't care about Trumps claims and assumptions he twitters about.

Show me the SIGNED treaty between Panama and the USA upon 1999 - that simply states:

"the U.S. would retain the right to defend the canal from any threat to its neutrality."
However - don't bother, since you can't forward such a statement in that treaty nor it's ratification.

The 1979 ratification states:

The United States would continue to have primary responsibility for the defense of the canal until expiration of the treaty in 1999, after which date both the United States and Panama would each have the right to defend the canal against threats to its neutrality or to the peaceful transit of ships.

In addition, the Senate added a measure to the neutrality treaty that would allow the United States to maintain troops in Panama after 1999 if both countries decided it was necessary.

(And Panama did NOT find it necessary) - aka they never signed such an agreement). Therefore no US troops nor US bases in Panama.

As such Panama can align with any foreign states military, in order to defend the canals neutrality, if e.g. the USA poses a danger to the canals neutrality - "BOOM", there you go.

Trump claims that the Panama canal belongs to the USA - Clearly a Bullshit claim
Trump claims that solely the USA has a right to defend the canal against threats to it's neutrality - Clearly a Bullshit claim

Trump is belittling Trudeau purposely in order to help free Canada from he and his totalitarian stupidity... Plus the fact that Canada has no military to speak of, that's pretty pathetic in and of itself

'The Monroe Doctrine states that the United States would interpret any foreign involvement in the Western Hemisphere as aggression'...China is the aggressor in Panama a country which we pretty much invented.

Trumpism, the Politics of Paranoiaâ„¢.
