OK. You're completely comfortable surrendering huge chunks of Ukrainian land to Russia
They mean to extend their sphere into sovereign countriesRussia certainly does, and they mean to enforce it wherever possible.
You know precious little about history. They mean to extend their sphere into sovereign countries
Trump plans to let them
Who does then? The proud people of Ukraine? I thought they were being chased around the empty streets of the dying out towns in order to be thrown into the meat grinder. There's no such thing as the damn democracy much less freedom in the Ukieland, it's past time you get it into your stubborn head.? trump does not dictate what Ukraine does.
Why couldn’t Obama of supported them when they invaded in Crimea?Obama had no option in Crimea other than sending in US troops.
Ukraine can defend themselves today if Trump continued support
I think you meant "...Obama have supported them..."Why couldn’t Obama of supported them when they invaded in Crimea?
Yes, every nation has a sphere of influence that it draws a line in the sand on, and I imagine most major power's around the globe have the same. NATO was formed as a deterrent against the possibility of a Russian expansionism that might seek to use it's power to expand it's global influence or communist ideology over dividing lines into area's outside of it's sphere of influence. The problem was that the Crimeans were more than willing to be part of Russia. We would have had to fight the Russian army as well as the locals.
You have to understand that Russia still considers it has a sphere of influence, and the Ukraine is squarely part of it.
Indeed. The Monroe Doctrine clearly declared a nascent United States sphere of influence which encompassed two continents.Yes, every nation has a sphere of influence that it draws a line in the sand on, and I imagine most major power's around the globe have the same. NATO was formed as a deterrent against the possibility of a Russian expansionism that might seek to use it's power to expand it's global influence or communist ideology over dividing lines into area's outside of it's sphere of influence.
Cuba is considered an area regarding our national security, so we don't expect Russia to do anything in that area that would threaten our national security (i.e.the Cuban missile crisis).
Now we have to ask ourselves, is Ukraine in the sphere of Russian influence, and what does it mean when NATO and America is involved in Ukraine for whatever reason ?
Ukraine found that out.Russia certainly does, and they mean to enforce it wherever possible.
Russia probably got aggressive in response to NATO's aggression first. Just a theory.NATO was formed as an alliance against Russian aggression, otherwise if the case ever arrived. So the very fact that Russia has become aggressive in a region for whatever reason, has re-awakened the idea of a created NATO and it's purpose concerning Russia.
Ugh, "I have been lied to". I don't know how many times I need to say it, I guess I am not important enough for people to pay attention to, but anyway, I could give a SHIT about Trump. He could be the greatest statesman to ever grace the history of US, or he could some kind of anti-Christ, Prince of Darkness from Hell..etc etc, makes zero difference to me. I just want to point it out whenever I see Trump-caused tears, of which there is plenty here.It is true. He is a joke. "90 deals in 90 days"? Two, and neither really completed.
"end the war on day one"? I believe we are somewhere around 200 days in and no end in sight.
You have been lied to.
That's untrue, NATO was formed to oppose the expansion of the Soviet Union, when that collapsed there was no need for NATO and it should have been disbanded, instead it expanded and now has military bases skirting Russia's border, hence the attack on Ukraine which was threatening to bring yet more NATO weaponry to the Russian border.Yes, every nation has a sphere of influence that it draws a line in the sand on, and I imagine most major power's around the globe have the same. The unstated goal is the fragmentation of Russia, for which the breakup of Yugoslavia serves as a template. Russia knows this hence it's resistance to further NATO encroachment.Cuba is considered an area regarding our national security, so we don't expect Russia to do anything in that area that would threaten our national security (i.e.the Cuban missile crisis).
Now we have to ask ourselves, is Ukraine in the sphere of Russian influence, and what does it mean when NATO and America is involved in Ukraine for whatever reason ?
The situation in Ukraine that includes NATO helping it makes me wonder what the hell has been going on in that region, otherwise regarding a geo political chess game being played ?Russia probably got aggressive in response to NATO's aggression first. Just a theory.
Your are right, it was the soviet union back then. That's untrue, NATO was formed to oppose the expansion of the Soviet Union, when that collapsed there was no need for NATO and it should have been disbanded, instead it expanded and now has military bases skirting Russia's border, hence the attack on Ukraine which was threatening to bring yet more NATO weaponry to the Russian border.

Nobody in Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy really gives a crap about Ukraine, let them fight their own battles, they provoked Russia so f**k em.
Some 26 million Russians perished in WW2, they aren't about to let the West ***** slap them.
Which tells us you are lying when you claim you don't care.Ugh, "I have been lied to". I don't know how many times I need to say it, I guess I am not important enough for people to pay attention to, but anyway, I could give a SHIT about Trump. Lol, I am not even American.Which tells us you are lying when you claim you don't care.
You may not even be aware you are. Lying to yourself is a tRumpling thing.
Why couldn’t Obama of supported them when they invaded in Crimea?
Why was Ukraine ordered to throw a perfectly acceptable peace deal back in Putin's face in April 2022?
