Why is the Russian Army so weak?

Exactly. We conquered those shitholes in no time, but could not hold them, no matter how nice we were.
We were holding Afghanistan. Things were going fine there and then Traitor Joe pulled us out of Afghanistan for no reason.

More to the point though, Russia has already failed and abandoned their attempt to conquer Ukraine. Russia can't even get to the point where they try to hold onto it.

Putin's regime is failing and the troops know it. They could care less about Ukraine, and they know it is only because the oligarchs want to rob and loot the place that they're there in the first place. Russia is so corrupt now nobody wants to die for the regime.

Most people fail to understand Russian army tactics.
They are not a blitzkrieg army like the Germans were. Their battle doctrine is to advance cautiously while using massive artillery barrages to pound enemy positions ahead of them. It takes longer to gain ground but their casualties stay low.

Russia has driven the Ukraine forces out of the Donbas region and is now focusing on southern Ukraine as it heads towards capturing the port city of Odessa.
Thus giving Russia total control of the northern coast of the Black Sea and denying Ukraine access to supply ships and making it a land locked country.

lol they use the same armor tactics everybody else uses; they're 'moving slow' because new weaponry and tactics shut down their invasion and now they have to use artillery. New infantry weapons are in the field now, and small infantry platoons with new anti-armor weapons and drones and field intelligence capabilities are beating out those armies still fighting 'the last war'. Russian leaders are political appointees, and mostly just gangsters themselves and don't know how to counter these new problems. Even the U.S. is changing its arms mix now and over the next 10 years.

You have BDS. lol

They got run out of Afghanistan for the same reasons, couldn't stand up to a bunch of ragged hill bandits once Charlie Wilson got them some Stingers to knock their choppers out of the air. Their ground forces were shit then and they're shit now. They lost their 'elite' troops and officers when they lost East Germany.

Our losses there could have been far less if troops weren't used for PR games and bait. And we wouldn't have been there so long if we weren't so afraid of calling pakistan's bluff re their sheltering an army of hill bandits on their soil.

Once we started training the Afghan Army to do all the fighting and dying instead of having NATO forces do all the fighting and dying, our losses dropped to practically nothing. There was no reason why we couldn't have stayed there forever.

2015: 26 NATO fatalities
2016: 15 NATO fatalities
2017: 17 NATO fatalities
2018: 19 NATO fatalities
2019: 26 NATO fatalities
2020: 11 NATO fatalities
2021: 13 NATO fatalities

He isn't using much of his military power supposedly only 10% of it.
Putin is a strong man in Russia but he is not an absolute dictator. Not all of the ruling Oligarchs are in to this invasion.
He is facing strong opposition from within including up to 30% of the Troops in Ukraine not cooperating with their commanders.
Whereas all of the Ukrainians right down to the 85 year old granny are fighting back....it matters.
