Why is Texas seeing such weather extremes?

It will if trump wins.

Right now Michigan grows 300 unique crops.
It won't no matter who wins. You've been sold a bill of goods. The heat is in the ocean, not the atmosphere. When the heat is being circulated from the Atlantic to the Arctic the planet warms. When the heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic gets disrupted, the planet cools. It's been going on for 3 million years. And before that the planet cooled from a greenhouse state to an icehouse state with way more atmospheric CO2 than today. Wake the fuck up.

Sorry I’ve been playing guitar and singing everything and turning it into a song. Lol

The winner will certainly affect government policies. He has NOT been sold a bill of goods, you simply don't know what the fuck you're talking about. And please explain a few things about that last final comment:
1) What is the source of the heat you say is in the ocean?
2) How can it be in the oceans and NOT also be in the atmosphere?
3) There are enormous amounts of evidence that both the atmosphere and the oceans are warming. Are you claiming to have refuted any of that?
When the heat is being circulated from the Atlantic to the Arctic the planet warms.
Moving heat around the planet changes the planet's average temperature? That would get you booted out of Thermo I on the first day of class.

No, it does not. The planet does not cool unless more thermal energy goes out than comes in.

Compared to the scientists who have actually been studying paleo- and contemporary climate, you're a high school dropout. You have NO actual evidence to support your contentions. You rely completely on a very cherry-picked set of correlations without a trace of causal analysis and show-stopper flaws on every side. YOU are the one who needs to wake the fuck up.

I couldn't be happier for you to be duped by them, bro. Just don't expect me not to bust your balls over it.

I can always tell when I trigger you because you start parsing posts like a cultural marxist.

The ocean is heated by the sun. Other than you, I don't know anyone who disputes this or doesn't understand this. It is a well established fact that the vast majority of heat is stored in the ocean and not the atmosphere. Maybe try looking that up if you don't believe it. Ever since the planet transitioned from a greenhouse planet to an icehouse planet 3 million years ago, the dominant climate feature of the planet is bipolar glaciation. You should know this because of the more than 30 glacial cycles that have occurred since then. Where extensive continental glaciation occurs in the northern hemisphere and then slowly recedes. It is the ocean heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic which controls this. It is not driven by the atmosphere. Your proof are the D-O events of the last glacial period. Maybe do some research on the impact the heat circulation of the ocean has on the planet's climate. Or you can keep drinking the political koolaid of AGW. I don't care.

If Biden wins, we'll spend hundreds of billion$ to drop the temperature 0.01 degrees by 2100.
And if Trump wins, the American democracy, America's leadership in every category will all come crumbling down.

If Republicans win

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Demands Answers As People Remain Without Power A Week After Beryl

Did Gov Abbott use taxpayer money to fly home from his Asia trip? ... and he's back in Asia tonight right? ... selling the Texas economy out to the Chinese while Texans suffer ...

CenterPoint contributes how much to his campaigns? ...

Who is CenterPoint?

I know right? Seems to know the right wing spin on this story and we don't know the half.
Well, I am already seriously "disinclined to acquiesce" to saying much of anything in support of Governor Abbot.
