It's the Department of Government Effeciency, not the Department of Government shrinkage (as I would have if President).
It goes after the Shrimp-on-a-Treadmill type waste, and I suppose that does cause pain for some(?). It is not charged with reducing spending, but reducing waste.

Paying hundreds of millions to upgrade an airplane that only gets briefly used before being gifted to a former President is not an investment, neither is spending tens of millions on a vanity parade.

I support what Republicans used to stand for, reducing government spending and the deficit. Hilariously, the current president has run on reducing government spending twice now, and his supporters don't seem to mind at all that he keeps doing the opposite.

I'm seriously amazed how people behave when spending cuts are introduced. kids are gonna die, people will lose healthcare, people will go hungry , blah, blah, blah.

Great point ... Republicans are demanding spending cuts and now they're screaming about cuts to government services ... Arkansas has to use State tax money to pay to recover from tornadoes ... they knew this was coming ...
I'm keeping my mouth shut ... I hate these spending cuts BUT then again I don't pay taxes ... so as long as the Rich keep sticking it to the Middle Class ... I'm good ... paying taxes is for losers ... you don't see Donald J Trump paying taxes, now do you? ...

Capital gains tax ... for starters ...
The specific complaint is lowering the corporate tax rate from 35% to 15% ... all that tax savings was used to pay higher dividends, and not wages ...
If you work for wages, it's your employer who pays your taxes, through the withholding tax system ... the worker never sees the money ... on the other hand, Mitt Romney's filing for 2011 was over 700 pages long ... that's a lot of tax deductions don't you think? ... the wage-slave files just one page, maybe two ... see the difference? ...

I pay capital gains, so again, I'm waiting for something that is separate from middle class.
Dividends go to employees and shareholders, seems good to get their employees more money
isn't significant for me at all. As long as he followed law, then he didn't do anything different than the middle class.

And those deficit hawks in Congress???..nowhere to be found. They've been threatened with primaries if they come out against the savior. In the House, they call this group the House Freedom Cucks.
