I remember when Republicans were against increasing government spending.

I remember when Democrats were all for more government spending.

When we have DOGE?

Spending this time last year was $154 billion less.

DOGE claims they "saved" $150 though that is very debatable.

Doesn't seem to be working, does it.

But if he's saved $150 B and spending is still up over $150 B then that means tRump has spend almost 1/3 of a trillion more than Biden did in the same time frame.

This math ain't workin' guys.

I can't see any point to DOGE.

Is it just a big distraction to keep us from noticing something else?

Or is the point really just cause pain?

It's the Department of Government Effeciency, not the Department of Government shrinkage (as I would have if President).

It goes after the Shrimp-on-a-Treadmill type waste, and I suppose that does cause pain for some(?). It is not charged with reducing spending, but reducing waste.
