Why Is Bill Cosby Finished While Bill Clinton Is Beloved?

[

Fact is, the President tried to deny Paula Jones her civil rights. Clinton also tried to obstruct justice and he perjured himself. No matter me forced him to do anything. They were all his choices and he was wrong. You keep repeating the same stuff over and over.

The fact is whether it should have happened or not, it did happen and he handled it a
L wrong.

Or he just handled it the way ALL litigants handle cases.

Now, the ONLY civil litigation I was ever involved in in 54 years was when I had to evict some tenants from a rental property. I really didn't want to, I wanted to work it out, but my lawyer was a lot smarter and wanted to protect me legally. So he told me exactly what information I was NOT to volunteer if the judge asked me any questions. He spent about an hour coaching me how to testify in a hearing that thankfully only lasted five minutes. (The tenant agreed he had no lease and would vacate).

Now, honestly, I don't know what happened between Clinton and Jones and I don't care. Maybe she led him on. Maybe he misread her level of interest. (Troopers assigned to Clinton testified Jones Giggled, "The governor wants me to be his girlfriend")

The point was, Jones asked for $250,000 in damages under a legal theory where the top award up to that point had been $10,000. But this was never about compensating Jones for the Soul Searing experience of seeing the Lovecraftian Horror of Clinton's Penis.

This was about embarrassing him as much as humanly possible. And if Jones was left so broke paying legal bills afterwards she had to take off her clothes for Penthouse and let Tonya Harding beat the shit out of her, so be it.

So I will put your sudden concern about "justice" for Ms. Jones in the 'Who are you trying to fool" file.

Try obstructing justice and lying under oath then tell me it's just a technicality. Interesting how your kind consider breaking the law as no big deal. In the end, it is and the specifics under which it occurs are irrelevant. You are justifying criminal activity.

Guy, I don't look at "law', I look at justice.

In a just world, we'd be putting Bush on trial for a million dead Iraqis. Not Clinton for lying about a blow job.

Your opinion doesn't change facts. Nice try.

Justice involves upholding the law not justifying breaking it like you do. While what Clinton did was against the law, show me what Bush did that was. You have nothing because your existence is nothing. I guess when the only job you're qualified to do is ask "would you like fries with that", you can't expect much from you.

No Justice involves doing the the right thing. Bush lied about the intelligence that got us into Iraq, and then outed the spy who contradicted him. He then pardoned the fall guy who took the heat for it. Oh, yeah, and 5000 Americans and a million Iraqis died. So somehow, saying, "Bush never got indicted" isn't a heart-warming endorsement.

Clinton lied about a personal relationship that had no bearing on a case that had no merit. That's not my opinion, that was the ruling of Judge Susan Weber Wright, who dismissed Jones' lawsuit.

Not that I am hung up on material things like you are, Cleetus, but i probably have more posessions than you do. No, your Double Wide isn't really that impressive.

No, he's a bad guy because he lied, perverted the justice system to prevent a woman from having her day in court, and tried to destroy the women who dared to accuse him of sexual improprieties.

The thing with the powerful and famous, they often begin to believe that they're irresistible and end up doing exactly what Bubba did, force themselves where they're not wanted.

So how was it Ken Starr spent 70 million dollars and couldn't prove any of that?
Bubba pled out. You do remember that, right?

What I remember is Clinton took an agreement to pay a $10,000 fine for an investigation that cost the tax payers 70 MILLION dollars and took our national attention off important things like that terrorist army that was building in the Middle East.

Right, because sexual harassment means nothing in Hillary's, and your, world.

I can't speak for Hillary's world, but i can speak for my world where I constantly self-edit every day because I don't know who is going to take offense to what.

You see, even if you believe EVERYTHING Paula Jones said was true, it really doesn't qualify as sexual harrassment.

Clinton was not her direct supervisor.

She did not have daily contact with him (thereby not creating a "hostile work environment".

There was no evidence any retaliatory action was taken against her. (In fact, the best she could come up with was that she was moved to an area because her work habits were so sloppy she kept other people from getting their work done.)

At the time she filed her suit, you had to show that there was a detrimental effect to you, not just th at you saw something that offended you.

(Since her suit, Ellsworth vs. Burlington expanded that, but it isn't entirely clear that applied here.)

This is why Susan Weber Wright dismissed the case.

It had no LEGAL merit.

Now, IF Clinton did what she said he did, does that make him kind of a creep? Yeah. So what?

Creep or not, when he was president, we had good jobs, peace, prosperity and frankly, an era of no worries if this was the worst thing we had to worry about.

If you have more, prove it. Once again, you make a claim you know you can't prove and will make some excuse as to why I should believe you. When you can prove your claim, do so. Since you aren't man enough to do so, I'll call it a win.

The right thing according to who, you? You think a lie has degrees. Shows you have no character.

He has no character, he would rather have a rapist and a sex predator in office because he benefited him financially.

Pretty sick.

Yeah, clearly, that's the ticket. Tell a psycho on the internet where I really live.

You aren't very smart, are you, Cleetus.

Of course lies have degrees.

Saying "No" when your signifigant other asks if that dress makes her look fat is probably a lie, but it's not a harmful lie.

Saying "Saddam has WMD's" which results in a war that kills 5000 Americans and 1,000,000 Iraqis, costs a trillion dollars, has a lot more degrees than that.

So if "That Dress doesn't make you look fat' is a 1 and "Saddam is going to kill us all" is a 10 on the Lie Scale----

"I never had sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky" rates maybe a 2. No one died. No one lost their fortune. No one lost their job.
