This is about how people's attitudes have changed. We don't need to have just "man" and "woman", we are supposed to be more intelligent than that.

Instead we have the right demanding that everyone go down to their basic level.

I'm not demanding everyone go to any level. Insisting that there are an infinite number of "genders" that differ from biological sex is far from a sign of intelligence. Someone who believes or pretends to believe that has either very low cognitive function, has a mental disorder, or is just lying to go along with the latest thing.

But if someone does that, what do I care? As long as I am not required to do anything but laugh at them, no skin off my ass. Just leave the kids alone.

Easiest thing for her to do would be just to barge on through the door, letting her husband hustle to catch up. Women demanding men be men is what helped to keep us civilized for hundreds if not thousands of years. You think women are treated better or worse than they were fifty years ago?

I always open doors for my wife, I will also hold her chair and help her on with her coat.

I always make sure she has gas in her car and I take care of all the maintenance of her car. I'll plug in her cell phone if I see the low battery light flash. I always make her coffee in the morning and if I'm going to be out of the house before she gets up I leave the coffee maker all ready to go and set out her favorite cup before I leave

I don't know if we'll ever get back to the way things were, with women insisting that men be men. When progressivism under whatever name fucks us up with their absurd policies, the solution is never to go back to what worked, but to come up with an even stupider policy to fix the first policy.

Because the modern world is one where narratives are taking over. People are being force fed "values" without thinking about them.
People are changing to adapt to such things.
Whether a man is a woman or a frog or whatever, who cares? People should be able to live their lives as they wish, away from bullying.
The bullying is just causing the problems to be worse. In Thailand they don't care about pronouns. Because it's not an issue. The bigots are pushing people further and further to the other extreme, so they end up being extreme.
Just accept people for who they want to be, then no one has a problem.

Simple. She waits for me to do it. She can get to a door a full minute before I do, and she will stand there waiting for me to come and open it. If she had just barred through the door herself over the years I would probably have forgotten all about the man's duty to open doors.

I do the same. I don't open the car door for her, but every place we go I open the door and let her in before I walk in behind her. I usually place my hand on the small of her back, as she walks through.
It is an act of affirmation. Affirming the security you offer her. Opening a door, allowing her to go in first is also an act of homage. Displaying your affection publicly.
