Why I applauded Trump's news conference....

Actually, for 3 reasons:

First, Trump "divesting" himself from his business empire will prove a sorry joke, leading to a barrage of conflicts of interest which will plague his administration for whatever term that administration may last.

Second, we learned that the Trump-Putin love fest will continue for as long as the "smarter" Putin wants it to last.

Third, Trump is still relying on his campaign supporters, placing his administration at serious odds (or war) with both the intelligence communities AND the press.

BTW, can someone find the video tape where Trump told us all summer and fall of last year that WE would front the money to build that wall and checking the mail daily for Mexico's check reimbursing us?
If trump was to divest that would make him the stupidest motherfucker on the planet, apparently you like those sort of people being a fucking dick sucking career politician fanboy… LOL

This divestment crap didn't start until LBJ, and subsequent presidents didn't have spit compared to Trump.

What Trump has done is sufficient, and technically, he didn't have to do even that.

did he say he was divesting??? I thought he said he will keep all of his investments, and maybe give any money made from a foreign dignitary to the treasury. So if the king of dubai stays at his hotel he will send the profits to the treasury. (how charitable) considering we have no way of keeping track of that much less enforcing it, he basically told everyone to go fuck themselves, he's not releasing his taxes ever, he's not putting his money in a blind trust, and he found a loophole to get out of any emoluments laws.
Why should the release his tax returns it's none of your or my business and certainly none of the fucking federal governments business, the fucking federal government can fucking burn in hell…
pretty sure the federal government knows what his taxes are..... its the american people that don't and if you think they should burn in hell that's on you buddy

A reasonable person understood what Trump was talking about regarding the wall.

Trump doesn't have to do anything. Perfectly legal to have a business. Anyway, America could care less. We elected him to fix all the Obama F/U's.

"Putin won't hack once I'm President."

Next question?
Won't need too... Piss boy will just give them everything they want like a good little Fredo...

Do you have nothing to contribute to the conversation except your sheer ignorance and even more ignorant memes?

I would trust someone that owns a successful business to run this government way before any fucked up career politician… Fuck career politicians

What should he do about his business to satisfy you?

To serve one's country is both an honor and a sacrifice.......As others have done before him, Trump should wholly divest himself from ANY business dealings, and to turn things over to his 2 sons is a lame joke........Do we need to record what father and sons say to one another at Thanksgiving dinner?
well as was mentioned, did Rockefeller do that as VP? guys, guys, try and keep up. you simply can't comprehend what you see.

Probably not. Lol, the biggest argument I saw was a foreign leader renting his hotel room would be considered a gift

Yeah, he has no legal obligation to divest, if he were to divest I would think of him as a blithering idiot.

So, basically, you want him to go the extra mile? Kinda like how some expect him to pay more taxes than he owes?
Standards sure have grown in the last 2 months..
Lets face it, the only way you bedwetters would be satisfied is if he sold everything. And that's not realistic. He isn't a career politician..
BTW, Hoover kept control over his mining company in Australia.
as Rockefeller held onto all of his businesses as mentioned in the presser.

Former Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush all placed their assets in blind trusts while serving as President.

I don't think it's any of the business of the federal government how much anyone makes or how little they make. Because they always use it against the citizens…

BTW, the applause you heard at the conference were Trump staffers. Is that canned applause like the movies?

They didn't have to, and neither does Trump.
